Eric Ortega
Born and bred on La Isla Bonita, Eric is the epitome of a “San Pedrano” (referring to the residents of San Pedro, Ambergris Caye) and one of the few privileged enough to have grown up in one of the most authentic island fishing villages in the world!
He also spent some time on Belize’s mainland, primarily Crooked Tree Village, home of the Crooked Tree Wildlife Sanctuary - a protected area of natural wetlands dubbed one of the best birding sites in the country.
After his studies, Eric joined his uncle in the tourism industry, learning to captain tour boats before pursuing his Divemaster and SSI Dive Instructor certifications.
An inherent sea lover, sailing is Eric’s passion; he enjoys combining his ability to sail his guests along the largest living barrier reef to remote islands and unrivaled snorkeling spots with his tour guiding experience.
You are in for the trip of a lifetime with Eric at the helm!
Nathalie Manuel
Meet Nathalie Manuel, who hails from the popular tropical hot spot of San Pedro, Ambergris Caye. An energetic team player, she joins BSV following a 10-year career working as a skilled Head Chef at an exclusive private villa on the island´s secluded northern shores.
Trained in Seasonal American Cuisine at John Bentley´s in California, Nathalie´s culinary passions are cake making, pastry, and decadent creations and presentations of fresh-caught lobster.
Nat, as she is affectionately known by her colleagues and friends, is also the sister of our lead and legendary first mate/chef, Kainie Manuel, so her reputation precedes her!

Yacht terms: All Inclusive
An all-inclusive charter covers all provisioning and running expenses. This includes a captain and crew that is fully trained and committed to your safety and enjoyment of your trip. A chef will provide the kind of exceptional, personalized meal preparation that you would expect of a five-star restaurant. The listed rate may not include all local taxes, cruising permits, premium beverages and scuba activities. Inquire for more information.

• Private Road Transfer from the Belize International Airport (BZE) to the Cucumber Beach Marina and back
• A dedicated crew of Captain and Chef/First Mate
• Air-conditioned Queen Cabins with en suite bathroom/shower
• All meals, including Breakfast, Lunch, Canapés, Dinner, and Dessert
• Open Ship´s Bar, including Beers, Rum Cocktails, and Wine with dinner (Argentinian & Chilean wines - one bottle of wine for every two guests per day)
• Equipment for fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding, and snorkeling

**Unlimited local alcoholic beverages (all the Belizean alcohol you can manage and then some!):
Indulge in Belize´s flavors with our selection of local beers and rum-based cocktails crafted from an assortment of homegrown rums. For a touch of Latin American sophistication, we also offer wines from Argentina and Chile to accompany your dinner.
**Imported alcoholic beverages:
We highly recommend you stock up on imported liquor or wine at either of the duty-free stores conveniently located near the baggage claim inside the Belize International Airport. Our personal favorite is Premier.
The limit is 4 liters of liquor or spirits per person or 6 bottles of champagne or wine per person.
They can also securely package it for you.
