I´m Jelena Perković a 25 year old culinary enthusiast from the capital of Croatia, Zagreb.
My academic journey led me to a master´s degree on the faculty of kinesiology, the place that introduced me to the world of sailing. I really loved that experience, so I choose sailing as a specialization when I was on my fourth year of studies. In 2021, I started working on a catamaran as a guide/stew. That position allowed me to combine my love for physical activity and cooking. I quickly adapted to the unique demands of life at sea and became a solo stewardess. I was working as a solo stewardess last two seasons on the Adriatic sea. Mostly on catamarans ( Lagoon 46, Saona 47, Aura 51, Bali 5.4 etc) but also some sailboats and motor yachts. One of intersecting things in 2023 was my participation in ´Survivor Croatia“ that was filming in the Dominican Republic. This experience tested my physical and mental resilience and taught me the importance of positive attitude and adaptability. I was taekwondo athlete for 10 years and then 2 years of track & field so I am still living a healthy lifestyle. I am passionate about cooking and continuously seeking new knowledge and techniques in culinary world. I look forward to the opportunity to creating a magical trip for our guests aboard Motek!
