Borrowed Bounty Description

The Bali 4.8 design was new to the market in 2020 and provided a fresh approach to sailing. The design is revolutionary in how space is accessed, with deliberate attention to flow and open space. It succeeds in producing a scale that feels less like a boat, and more like an upscale floating condominium. Bali catamarans are known and appreciated for their unparalleled success in blending luxury, space, and performance; producing a sailing experience that is unparalleled. This new design further capitalizes on that reputation with the advent of the “Bali garage door” that is the centerpiece of the yacht. It allows for the aft wall of the yacht to simply disappear, opening up the back of the yacht to an unobstructed view of paradise. This also affords indoor/outdoor dining options and gives the ever-present Caribbean breeze ample opportunity to make its way through the yacht with ease. With her solid foredeck gone are the forward trampolines, replaced by a large relaxing lounge area complete with cushions for sunbathing. A full-sized door provides access directly from the lounge area into the salon, allowing free movement through the yacht. A walk up to the flybridge unveils a seating area perfect for cocktails and taking in sunsets. There is also another area for sunbathing on the flybridge where you can take in the sights of the islands from the highest vantage point on the yacht. The Bali open space design is further complimented by the superior outfit of Borrowed Bounty. No detail has been left unnoticed from the fine linens, pillows and throws to the wine glasses, serving and flatware that make every day feel luxurious. She has been stocked full with every appliance and kitchen accessory to allow the chef to fully showcase the mastery of their art. And the water toys abound, allowing guests to fully experience all the Caribbean has to offer, both in and out of the water. Borrowed Bounty will accommodate 8 charter guests in 4 spacious queen cabins. She is a 2024 model with SeaDek encompassing the entire deck, upgraded engines, solar panels, air conditioning, water maker, ice maker, full sized refrigerator, a fully customizable menu, ecofriendly and reef safe toiletries, a bar stocked to guest preference, coffee/espresso machine, rendezvous scuba diving, snorkeling gear, underwater scooters, subwing, wakeboard, stand up paddle boards, kayak, towable water tube, 10 ft. floating dock, pool noodles, fishing gear, board and card games, television in the salon, Fusion 3 Bluetooth enabled sound system and Borrowed Bounty giveaways.

CAPTAIN
Will Jameson

Will grew up on the South Coast of England, where his passion for sailing, boats, and the sea has been a lifelong pursuit. His enthusiasm for the water emerged at a young age, and by 16, he had saved enough from his paper round to purchase his first boat, a Dart 18. Around this time, Will began volunteering as a dinghy instructor at a charity-based sailing school, where he took people of all ages and abilities out on the water-including Princess Anne!

After finishing school, Will immediately entered the workforce, starting his own business. However, his love for sailing only deepened. He frequently chartered yachts with friends in the Mediterranean, finding great joy in introducing others to the pleasures of sailing and clear waters. This passion led him to buy his first substantial sailing vessel, ´Fay,´ a 32-foot catamaran that required a complete refit. Will eagerly took on the challenge of refurbishing Fay himself and soon had her back on the water. He embarked on numerous voyages along the South Coast of the UK, as well as across the English Channel to France and the Channel Islands. With an Atlantic crossing under his belt and a Commercially Endorsed Yachtmaster Offshore certification, Will is an experienced and skilled sailor.

When he´s not on a boat, Will finds plenty of other ways to stay active. He is a qualified kitesurfing instructor-another activity he believes everyone should try. Will enjoys keeping fit and has completed the Devizes to Westminster canoe ultra marathon, always seeking new challenges. He also enjoys wakeboarding, fishing, and has a keen interest in cars.

CHEF
Matea Kosovic

Matea´s culinary journey began in the heart of her home in Croatia, where cooking and sharing meals with loved ones sparked an early passion for food. Inspired by her mother´s recipes, she took to the culinary arts on her own and developed a creative flair by adding unique twists to her mother´s dishes. This early love for cooking set the foundation for her career.

Matea also developed an interest in health and fitness, prompting her to pursue a degree of Bachelor of Nutrition Science in Australia. That academic journey expanded her understanding of the intricate relationship between nutrition and culinary arts, fueling her passion even further. After completing her degree, she realized that her passion for cooking and food was something that could be pursued on the water. Her lifelong connection to the ocean influenced her decision to become a yacht chef back in her home country of Croatia.

Her dedication to cooking remains constant and ever-growing. Matea takes great pride in preparing meals with love and quality, ensuring that friends, family, and guests enjoy their dining experience and can appreciate food as much as she does. She especially cherishes the opportunity to share her love for food with others, bringing them together and creating memorable moments with the combined allure of her culinary creations and the ocean´s beauty.

Borrowed Bounty Guest Reviews

March 2024

Jake & Olivia were great. Olivia was warm and welcoming from the beginning. Jake was very accommodating with our itinerary. We had a lot of things we wanted to do/see and he graciously fit it all in and we didn’t feel rushed. He was happy to tow the kids for tubing and wake boarding several times. Once he knew we liked games, He introduced our families to a game that we’ll be playing again on our next vacation. Olivia made the most delicious food! Everything was SO good and beautifully presented. She was so sweet to accommodate some picky teen eaters as well. When i say this crew made our families feel special, i mean it. They are both so easy to talk to and be around. Olivia even gave the kids a little egg hunt for Easter Sunday which they loved!

Thank you Jake & Olivia!
