Book your vacation with an award-winning yacht! Oceana took home 2 awards at the 2023 VIPCA Show! The yacht won Runner Up for Best in Show Yachts under 50´ and the crew took home Honorable Mention for Best Crew! The Bali 4.8 design was new to the market in 2020 and provided a fresh approach to sailing. The design is revolutionary in how space is accessed, with deliberate attention to flow and open space. It succeeds in producing a scale that feels less like a boat, and more like an upscale floating condominium. Bali catamarans are known and appreciated for their unparalleled success in blending luxury, space, and performance; producing a sailing experience that is unparalleled. This new design further capitalizes on that reputation with the advent of the “Bali garage door” that is the centerpiece of the yacht. It allows for the aft wall of the yacht to simply disappear, opening up the back of the yacht to an unobstructed view of paradise. This also affords indoor/outdoor dining options and gives the ever-present Caribbean breeze ample opportunity to make its way through the yacht with ease. With her solid foredeck gone are the forward trampolines, replaced by a large relaxing lounge area complete with cushions for sunbathing. A full-sized door provides access directly from the lounge area into the salon, allowing free movement through the yacht. A walk up to the flybridge unveils a seating area perfect for cocktails and taking in sunsets. There is also another area for sunbathing on the flybridge where you can take in the sights of the islands from the highest vantage point on the yacht. The Bali open space design is further complimented by the superior outfit of Oceana. No detail has been left unnoticed from the fine linens, pillows and throws to the wine glasses, serving and flatware that make every day feel luxurious. She has been stocked full with every appliance and kitchen accessory to allow the chef to fully showcase the mastery of their art. And the water toys abound, allowing guests to fully experience all the Caribbean has to offer, both in and out of the water. Oceana will accommodate 8 charter guests in 4 spacious queen cabins. She has soft foam decking encompassing the deck and flybridge, lithium batteries and solar panels that allows the air conditioning to run without generator at times, air conditioning, water maker, ice maker, full sized refrigerator, a fully customizable menu, Caribbean made ecofriendly and reef safe toiletries, a bar stocked to guest preference, coffee/espresso machine, rendezvous scuba diving, snorkeling gear, underwater scooters, subwing, wakeboard, stand up paddle board, towable water tube, 10 ft. floating dock, pool noodles, fishing gear, board and card games, television in the salon, Fusion 3 Bluetooth enabled sound system and Oceana giveaways.

4 queen berth guest cabins each with a private en-suite electric head, shower and sink/vanity. Starboard side heads have dry stall showers, port side heads have wet showers.
All cabins have individually contract air-conditioning for each cabins comfort.
Top desk fly-bridge with lounging and seating with a 360-degree view.
Forward cockpit with solid sun deck and dining area.
Aft cockpit with seating and dining accommodations.
Main deck has a bright and airy main salon (fully air-conditioned) as the galley direct access to the forward cockpit lounge area.
In true Bali catamaran style, the salon back wall lifts up and side widows slide forward to open up the entire space for an alfresco dining experience and panoramic views.
Crew use bunk cabin, but will move for $800 fee.

UMBERTO

Born and raised in Sicily in the south of Italy, Umberto has spent a great deal of time around the water. Even as a young child he was passionate about watersports, fishing and outdoor activities. After he received his bachelor’s degree in business administration in Milan, he traveled to Australia to work in hospitality at the famous Sydney Opera House, he also lived in Hong Kong for 4 months while interning for a digital start-up.

In 2017 he found himself back in Italy and decided to spend more time on the water and thus started working for The Yacht Week, a popular flotilla company that operates in the Mediterranean but also in other locations like BVI, Martinique and Tahiti. Starting as a Skipper and moving quickly to higher positions such as Lead Skipper and Route Manager. For 2 years he also held the role of Instructor for Quarterdeck, a company that trains and mentors professional skippers.

In the 6 years he worked for Quarterdeck and The Yacht Week, he completed more than 80 charters in several locations around the Mediterranean and abroad, covering more than 100,000 nautical miles.

When not on the water, he also likes to drive motorbikes. One of his most memorable trips was in India driving through the highest motorable pass in the world at +5.000 meters of altitude.

Daryl is a Le Cordon Bleu London trained chef from beautiful Cape Town, South Africa. After gaining experience at a number restaurants, including being the chef for South Africa´s first plant-based zero-waste sushi restaurant, she decided to follow her passion for ocean and adventure, and work abroad sailing yachts.

She has worked two seasons abroad yachts in Croatia, Greece, Turkey, Tahiti, St. Lucia and the BVI. With her niche interest in healthy food and gut health, she also worked as an instructor at Stir Crazy Cooking School, hosting healthy food classes in Cape Town. Daryl loves creating food that is fresh, delicious, colorful and innovative. She has travelled to over 30 different countries and has learnt a great deal about differing food cultures. Her favorites that inspire her cuisine the most are Thai, Japanese, Mediterranean, Caribbean and Middle Eastern.

She believes food has the potential to elevate any experience, and she is confident that her food will bring immense joy and satisfaction to the table.

When she is not in the galley crafting her magic, she loves surfing, hiking, snowboarding, yoga and hosting quiz nights! She is very much looking froward did to being a part of this incredibly unique and joyous experience on charter with you!

Yacht terms: All Inclusive
An all-inclusive charter covers all provisioning and running expenses. This includes a captain and crew that is fully trained and committed to your safety and enjoyment of your trip. A chef will provide the kind of exceptional, personalized meal preparation that you would expect of a five-star restaurant. The listed rate may not include all local taxes, cruising permits, premium beverages and scuba activities. Inquire for more information.

For 6 night charters, divide weekly rate by 7 nights X 6 nights. For 5 nights or less, divide weekly rate by 6 nights X number of nights.
48 HOURS REQUIRED FOR TURNAROUND

SLEEP ABOARD: Sleep aboard the night before charter dates. Available for $300 per cabin, with a 3 cabin minimum.
Includes boarding after 4pm, welcome cocktail and canapes plus a light breakfast the next morning. Dinner is to be taken ashore at client expense.

LOCAL FARE: Includes: 7 breakfasts, 5 lunches & 5 dinners. Requires 2 lunches and 2 dinners ashore at client expense.
-For local fare, deduct $150 per person off the charter rate

CHRISTMAS 2024: 1-8 guests @ +10% surcharge over 8 pax rate ($26,950) - charter must end no later than 12/27

SAINT MARTIN / SAINT BARTHS RELOCATION FEE
Relocation fee of $2,000, minimum 72 hour turn required on either side of charter dates for boat transit. Please inquire for availability.

Due to threats of provisions being dumped at the border, we will only drop off in the USVI.

The Oceana was the perfect fit for our family, not only the right size, but the best capitan and chef. Umbi is an amazingly kind and warm person. He took us to amazing locations and hikes and did everything to make sure we were well taken care of. Lindsey was awesome. She worked tirelessly cooking so many delicious dishes and accommodated everyone´s dietary restrictions, from vegans, to gluten free. No small feat. Everything was perfect. The only way to really experience the BVI.

We had a great experience with Umberto and Judith. As I stated in a previous email, they exceeded our vacation expectations and they covered any and all of the details to provide our group with an exceptional vacation. The boat was amazing, Umberto is a great captain and Judith provided us with consistent 5 Star meals each day with amazing presentations that were absolutely delicious. Judith is very skillful to accomplish this in a small kitchen on a boat. I think that I speak for everyone to say that they provided us with the ultimate vacation experience.
