Originally from the UK, Adam has backpacked across Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Americas, immersing himself in cultures and coastlines around the globe. Before stepping into the helm, he worked as a scuba instructor in Turkey, Egypt, and the Philippines, where his passion for marine life and conservation took root. Today, he continues to advocate for ocean health through storytelling and sustainable practices onboard.
Adam’s sailing career spans transoceanic crossings of the Indian Ocean, South and North Atlantic, and extensive cruising throughout the Mediterranean, North Sea, and English Channel. He’s captained a wide range of vessels - from classic monohulls to cutting-edge catamarans - and is known for his technical expertise, having worked as a delivery captain and technician for Xquisite Yachts in the Bahamas.
Whether guiding guests through turquoise waters or sharing tales from remote anchorages, Adam’s calm demeanor and adventurous spirit create a relaxed, safe, and unforgettable experience. He’s a natural teacher, happy to share sailing tips, snorkelling secrets, or the best spots for a beach picnic. Really awesome trip!
´Really awesome trip! The boat is beautiful and well appointed. We have been to 5-star restaurants all over the world and Becky´s cooking outstands them all. Travis is very knowledgeable and generous. I am a scary cat around water and he made me feel very safe. They are both kind and interesting. Highly recommended. Oh, we have already committed to a trip with them to Croatia next year. Can´t wait!´

Guests in May
´Dear Travis and Becki,
Thank you so much for the amazing week we spent with you on the Valhalla. We felt like queens, the food was excellent, every day a dream!! The cocktails were awesome. We had a blast. All the dinghy tours were an experience each time and each day, we discovered the beauty of the Exumas like never seen. A special thanks from Hutch to you both. A unique trip that we will remember for a long time. Wish you all the best.´
Late August
Travis, Becky and the boat itself surpassed my high expectations. While the weather didn´t quite cooperate for the majority of the week, Travis and Becky went out of their way to ensure we were being taken care of while on board. Travis is an excellent seaman and has complete control of Valhalla; he also knows the Bahamas/Exumas very well. All the ´must sees´ and experiences were on our agenda. Becky is an excellent 1st mate and chef. Each meal was prepared with thought for individual palattes and love. Two thumbs up for the boat and crew!´
´ Amazing first time yacht experience! The accommodations were fantastic, the yacht was beautiful. We enjoyed the crew and they made us feel at home. I will definitely charter with them again!´
