CAPTAIN ALTHARIO “TARIO” ROLLE
A native Bahamian, Captain Althario “Tario” Rolle brings exceptional local knowledge, maritime experience, and warm island hospitality to every charter aboard BRU SEA.
Captain Tario served for ten years with the Royal Bahamas Defence Force, where he developed a strong foundation in navigation, seamanship, safety, and operations throughout Bahamian waters.
Following his military maritime service, he transitioned into the yacht-charter industry and has spent more than a decade operating power and sailing yachts up to 100 feet. He has completed countless charters and holds a Bahamian 200-ton captain’s license.
Professional, personable, and attentive, Captain Tario places the safety and comfort of his guests at the heart of every experience. His intimate knowledge of The Bahamas allows him to personalize each itinerary around the day’s conditions and his guests’ interests.
Whether guiding guests to secluded beaches, peaceful anchorages, beautiful snorkeling areas, or favorite local destinations, Captain Tario combines confident leadership with an easygoing personality that helps everyone feel welcome aboard.

The prices shown are for the entire yacht for a week-long (7 nights) charter.
Price: $36,500


Yacht terms: Plus Expenses
The price includes a professional crew operating your chartered yacht, but all running expenses such as fuel, tax, provisions and any other costs are extra. Calculate between 20-30% for a sailing yacht and 30-40% for a motor yacht on top of the given rate with an APA cash payment made to the ships agent or captain, who will keep an open tap and produce full accounts of all expenditures. Unused APA money will be refunded. Inquire for more information.

Additional Overnight Expenses
• Bahamas taxes: 14% of the base charter fee
• APA: Generally 25%-35%
• Crew gratuity: Customarily 15%-20%
• Dockage, shore power, and repositioning when applicable
• Guest-specific provisions and special requests
• The APA funds food, beverages, fuel, dockage, consumables, and other variable charter expenses. Unused funds are returned at the conclusion of the charter.
• Overnight itineraries and repositioning requests are reviewed individually and are subject to weather, operational feasibility, and the yacht’s existing schedule.
