Meet Your Hosts – Kata, Peter (Panda) & Csoda the Dog!
For Kata and Peter, life on the water began with a shared passion for kitesurfing, adventure, and exploring beautiful places. But it was their wedding aboard a catamaran in the Philippines that changed everything! They fell in love with the lifestyle and decided to turn their dream into reality by buying their own catamaran and creating a unique sailing experience for others.
Originally from Hungary, Kata and Peter are also British citizens and have a home in the UK. Since January 2024, however, their home has been Aqua Panda, where they live aboard full-time and share their love of sailing, travel, good food, and adventure with their guests.
Both are very active and love spending time outdoors, whether it´s kitesurfing, exploring new islands, swimming, snorkelling, or discovering hidden beaches.
Peter, also known as Panda, is especially passionate about snorkelling and loves exploring the underwater world. He also owns a cocktail business, so it´s no surprise that he is an amazing cocktail maker! From refreshing tropical creations to perfectly mixed sundowners, he enjoys making every occasion a little more special.
Kata is an animal lover who enjoys staying active, exploring new places, and cooking. She takes great pleasure in preparing delicious homemade meals using fresh ingredients, tailoring the menu to guests´ tastes and preferences. For her, good food and genuine hospitality are essential ingredients of a memorable holiday.
And then there´s Csoda, their much-loved four-legged crew member! Friendly, affectionate, and full of personality, Csoda can be a wonderful addition to the experience for guests who share their love of dogs.
As liveaboard owners, Kata and Peter know Aqua Panda inside out. Every detail on board has been thoughtfully arranged with their guests in mind, creating a comfortable, relaxed, and welcoming atmosphere.
They believe the best holidays are about freedom, relaxation, and enjoying quality time with the people you travel with. Their approach is warm, attentive, yet discreet, always happy to share local knowledge, recommend hidden gems, or help organise an adventure, while giving guests plenty of space and privacy to enjoy the experience at their own pace.
