Captain: Vassilis Diamantis
Captain Vasilis, born in Patras in 1981, brings extensive maritime experience to S/Y Sahana. With a seafaring career spanning over two decades, he has been working as a Captain since 2008, demonstrating exceptional leadership and navigational skills. His deep knowledge of the sea and the Greek islands, combined with a strong commitment to safety and guest satisfaction, ensures a smooth and enjoyable yachting experience. Fluent in both Greek and English, Captain Vasilis effortlessly communicates with international guests and crew, fostering a welcoming and professional environment on board. His passion for the ocean and dedication to excellence make him a valued leader on Sahana.
Chef: Amalia Provelengiou
Amalia, the culinary artist aboard Sahana, brings a unique blend of skills and experience to the galley. With a speedboat license in hand and a seasoned sailor for 17 years, she navigates both the kitchen and the open seas with finesse. Having honed her culinary talents by practice and dedication, she served as a cook on a catamaran last year, demonstrating her ability to craft delectable meals in the confines of a maritime galley. She is kind, adaptable, with a keen eye for detail and one can understand the love she puts in her dishes. Fluent in Greek and English, with basic knowledge of Spanish, Amalia effortlessly communicates with guests from various backgrounds, ensuring a delightful dining experience for all aboard. Her passion for both sailing and gastronomy infuses every dish she prepares, making her an indispensable asset to the Sahana crew.

Christos brings a unique blend of calm confidence, technical expertise, and deep sailing knowledge to life on board Sahana. With a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education & Sports Science from the University of Athens, where he earned top marks for his thesis on Optimist Class Coaching, Christos has built a strong foundation in both the theory and practice of sailing.
His credentials include a Sailing Coach License from the Hellenic Republic and multiple maritime qualifications such as Powerboat Level 2 & Safety Boat Certificate (RYA), Motorboat License (Hellenic Coast Guard), and First Aid Certificate (NCF Hong Kong). From January 2016 to October 2019, Christos worked as a Freelance National Coach with the Hong Kong Sailing Federation and the Hong Kong Sports Institute (HKSI), delivering elite-level coaching and operational support across Asia’s major regattas.
Beyond his impressive coaching background, Christos is also a former Special Forces Sergeant, giving him exceptional discipline, resilience, and the ability to stay cool under pressure. On Sahana, he plays a vital role in maintaining smooth deck operations, assisting with water activities, and ensuring the yacht is perfectly prepared for both sailing performance and guest enjoyment. His adaptable, down-to-earth personality makes him a perfect fit for Sahana’s relaxed yet refined atmosphere, while his quiet professionalism and sailing expertise provide guests with a sense of security and confidence as they explore the sea.
Whether helping to fine-tune the sails, guest service or offering guidance during water sports, Christos is an invaluable member of the crew - dedicated to making every charter not only smooth but memorable.

Sahana Rates / week
The prices shown are for the entire yacht for a week-long (7 nights) charter.Low price: €18,500
High price: €26,000
The high and low prices of this yacht depend on both the number of guests and the traveling season. Send us an inquiry for exact pricing.
Yacht terms: Plus Expenses
The price includes a professional crew operating your chartered yacht, but all running expenses such as fuel, tax, provisions and any other costs are extra. Calculate between 15-25% for a sailing yacht and 25-35% for a motor yacht on top of the given rate with an APA cash payment made to the ships agent or captain, who will keep an open tap and produce full accounts of all expenditures. Unused APA money will be refunded. Inquire for more information.

Summer 2025 Weekly Rates:
High Season (July - August): EUR 26,000 per week plus expenses (VAT 6,5% & APA 25%)
Mid-Season (June - September): EUR 23,500 per week plus expenses (VAT 6,5% & APA 25%)
Low Season (rest months): EUR 18,500 per week plus expenses (VAT 6,5% & APA 25%)
VAT rate is determined by applicable tax legislation and may be subject to change without prior notice or responsibility on the Broker, the Stakeholder or the Owner. Should any changes in applicable tax legislation take place after the issuance of a charter agreement resulting in changes in total amount(s) due then the difference will be credited or debited accordingly to the Charterer.
