Captain - Ben Bowring
Ben´s passion for all things yachts, ocean and hospitality was sparked from a young age, sailing in the Mediterranean with his family. After completing his Yachtmaster at age 19, he has dedicated his career to yachting. Since then, he has worked in many sectors of the industry; As an instructor of the Yachtmaster syllabus to professional sailors, Charter Captain in the Caribbean and Flotilla Captain in the Mediterranean. His passion for sailing also led to competing in offshore races as part of the royal ocean racing club (RORC) including the Rolex Fastnet.
Chef/ Stew Meg Carter
With four seasons of experience as both a sole chef and sous chef, Meg brings a strong foundation and genuine passion to every charter. Her background in Food Science informs Meg’s approach in the galley, combining creativity with a deep interest and understanding of ingredients and flavour.
Meg loves the dynamic nature of yachting: meeting new people; exploring different cultures; and, creating tailored dining experiences for guests. Meg’s career has taken her across the Caribbean, the US, and Europe, and she is constantly tweaking her menus as inspiration strikes
Meg is highly organised to reduce waste as much as possible.
Outside of the galley, Meg is a keen sports enthusiast who enjoys staying active and embarking on new adventures.
Deckhand -Honor Glynn-Williams
Joining the yachting industry with a passion for hospitality and guest service, Honor brings a warm, enthusiastic approach and a natural ability to make guests feel welcome. As a graduate in modern languages, she is a native English speaker and is fluent in both French and Spanish, with intermediate Portuguese, allowing her to communicate effortlessly with guests from around the world.
Her background in hospitality and working alongside a tour manager has given her excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm and efficient in busy environments. Friendly, approachable, and always smiling, she enjoys creating memorable experiences and ensuring every guest feels relaxed and well cared for throughout their charter.
When she´s not on board, she enjoys running and a range of water sports, making her the perfect companion for active guests looking to make the most of life on the water.
Qualifications: Powerboat Level 2, STCW, Food Hygiene and Catering Level 2, Infant, child and adult First Aid

The prices shown are for the entire yacht for a week-long (7 nights) charter.Low price: €35,000
High price: €52,000
The high and low prices of this yacht depend on both the number of guests and the traveling season. Send us an inquiry for exact pricing.
Yacht terms: Plus Expenses
The price includes a professional crew operating your chartered yacht, but all running expenses such as fuel, tax, provisions and any other costs are extra. Calculate between 20-30% for a sailing yacht and 30-40% for a motor yacht on top of the given rate with an APA cash payment made to the ships agent or captain, who will keep an open tap and produce full accounts of all expenditures. Unused APA money will be refunded. Inquire for more information.

Our week on Saideira was simply amazing. We all came back with great memories, relaxed and spoiled!

Exceeded expectations
The rooms, beds and bathrooms were fabulous. The top deck for dining was the most rare and special night for us.
How would you rate the quality of the food on board?
Delicious
We loved everything on the meals!!! Sandy is an exceptional cook!!
What was the highlight of your charter experience?
Very hard to say. The meals were really amazing, especially when we dined on the top deck overlooking island lights with the breeze. We were in a whole different world then. The snorkeling, sailing and just being pampered all day was amazing!

I want to say that the crew for Saidera were not only amazing in latitude, but by far the most professional and impressive group I’ve seen on a yacht to date. Sandy and her food were nothing short of a Michelin star and to be honest, probably closer to a two star. She was able to hit so many different variations and styles of food from around the world with perfection. The plating was always well done, and the portion sizes were perfect. She actually created three dishes that I normally hate the first night and all three I want the recipes for. She was always on time, always courteous and listened behind the scenes at what I would say and then would go find the ingredients and surprise me. Ben was always courteous professional on time and one hell of a server in the evening. What´s nice is that even when he couldn´t participate when I would talk about the things I was doing in the things I saw he was legitimately excited just that I got to see them even when he couldn´t be there. There was never a moment at any point in time where I felt like I was a burden or that he didn´t want to do something I asked for. And Leila was the same way. She always just said yes, smiled and got it on and what the hell she is one of the best bartenders I´ve ever seen. The boat was always spotless, smelled great and well taken care of. I would happily re-charter again next year if they allow me.
