CAPTAIN
Jake Le Gassick
Jake is a British skipper who grew up in a Naval family, who gave him his love for the water, always living by the coast in the south of England. Jake first started sailing dinghies on his local river when he was 10 and fell in love with it. He carried on sailing throughout his teenage years and once Jake left school he worked at a boatyard in the south of the UK (Devon) learning more about the maintenance of sailing yachts and the less glamorous side of boating in general!
After 4 years maritime work Jake wanted to pursue being a skipper full time and so gained the relevant qualifications and did a season in the Mediterranean as well as a lot of freelance work in the English Channel. Jake is very excited to bring his love for sailing and the water over to the Caribbean!

Belle Vie Guest Reviews
January 2025
We had a fantastic time!!! Jorja and Noah were amazing. We left Scrub Island Sunday and headed to Cooper Island and Willy T´s. Such a great afternoon. Spent the night there, went to Peter Island for a few hours Monday morning and then headed to Virgin Gorda where we docked in marina there. Tuesday we went to the Bath´s, amazing, and then headed to other side of the island where we went to Saba Rocks and spent the night there. Left Wednesday morning to head to Jost Van Dyke, hit Soggy Dollar bar in the afternoon and Foxy´s at night. Another amazing day. Sailed back to Scrub Island Thursday and spent last few nights on Tortola.
Everything was absolutely amazing. It was everything we had hope and more.
We´ll definitely look to do another trip with Noah and Jorja.

The boat itself is gorgeous and made the perfect home for us in the BVI. Thank you again for having us, we hope to be back soon and visit all these incredible islands again!
