Bill and Ashley are AMAZING! We would never do another trip without them. Bill was always so accommodating taking us wherever even if we switched our itinerary. And Ashley!! Holy cow her cooking was off the hook. Having two picky kids she was a short order cook for our family and everyone was always satisfied! She was also never shy offering us up and making delicious cocktails.

´Wow, how blessed are we that we chose Bryan and Patti to be our captain and chef! Bryan and Patti you have exceeded our expectations! Thank you so much for everything. The food was amazing, we looked forward to each meal! Both of you worked so hard, so calm, yet effortlessly together. Thank you for coordinating with the other captains on our tandem trip with friends. It is not easy doing a tandem trip, but you made it seem easy! We had so much fun snorkeling, paddle boarding, floating, swimming with dolphins, and exploring the beautiful coves. We also enjoyed relaxing, sipping on mojitos, and taking in the beautiful scenery. Carson and I enjoyed riding the high waves and he especially enjoyed wake surfing at Magens. So grateful we were on Time Out. Thank you both, this has been the best vacation the Mackinnons have ever had...away from the snow, ice, cold, demanding jobs and 5:45 AM wake up calls straight into a beautiful place being expertly taking care of by Patti and Bryan.. Bryan navigated a perfect itinerary for our family, with a mix of snorkeling, swimming, paddle boarding and just sitting and being still! Patti, I am really going to miss you. What a wonderful and awesome experience! From seeing beautiful sunrises and sunsets to sea turtles, visiting lovely Saint Croix, so many hidden and private gems that you showed us such as Buck island (my favorite), the Fred, rainbow beach and so much more! We just got done with a 7 night charter through the USVI. Can´t say enough amazing things about it! It was truly the trip of a lifetime and we are already trying to figure out when we can go again. We snorkeled, scuba dived, kayaked, paddleboarded and lots of swimming. The food was 5 star quality and always impressed. If you are on the fence, I would say do it!! It was beyond amazing!

We have found the USVI´s best kept secret, the Time Out boat and her crew Captain Bryan and Chef extraordinaire Patti! This should no longer be a secret! Most amazing family trip we have had together. No worries, no stress, no arguments..why?? Salty ocean, sunny skies, laid back captain and the most yummy food ever... took away every ache and pain and stress this year has brought us. Every day was glorious. The water, snorkeling, sailing, hiking, lounging, tanning and most importantly to my hubby- FISHING! Bryan was super patient with him and taking him via dinghy all around to see if he could catch ´the big one´. We laid lounging on the paddle boards, on the front trampoline, and read a ton of books while cruising to and from our anchorages. Every meal was delicious! Tuna poke bowls were a favorite and the kids loved every desert. You kept our growing 15yr old boy WELL FED during our trip. I felt extremely relaxed this entire time. Thank you for sharing your home with us. I will cherish my home away from home vacation. Every night dinner, drinks, and sunsets were exactly what the doctor ordered- a 100% complete Time Out. Thank you Bryan and Patti for spoiling us. Time Out should not be the best kept secret anymore!

Thank you for a fantastic vacation. You were very attentive but not overbearing and you were present while staying unnoticed which is a hard thing to do in such a small space. You made our family feel alone in the islands while catering to our every whim. We would recommend you to everyone we know back home because you both made us feel right at home. Bryan, you are a great captain, you are capable and concerned yet laid back and knowledgeable. As good as you are, Patti was the star of the week! Patti, your cooking was amazing. I can´t believe what you can create in such a small space. With all the challenges of cooking on a boat you listened to our requests and created fresh meals that we all loved. Which is no easy task considering we have two teenagers. The only subpar meals we had this week were when we left the boat to eat out. Please warn future clients don´t miss out on any of Pattis meals, she is creative and will take good care of you! Make sure not to leave the table early because her deserts were out of this world! We are going to miss you both, this was one of the best family vacations we have ever had.

This was our first time chartering a boat, especially with two young children (ages 23 months and 3 years). We are incredibly grateful for Patti and Bryans calm and cool demeanor throughout our stay and their willingness to accommodate the children´s tastes and schedules, as ever changing and unpredictable they can be on vacation. Overall, the boys can´t stop talking about the sea turtles surfacing right next to them in the ocean and the baby deer on the beach in Lameshur bay. We think the boys won´t hesitate to say ´yes´ to another adventure on Patti and Bryans boat! From the parents, we cannot rave enough about the meals or their boat, from the bacon wrapped scallops, chicken and kale curry to the steak grilled right on the boat. The homemade double chocolate cake with champagne for breakfast was an absolute luxury. Thank you Patti!! The dives with Bryan as our dive master were truly exhilarating. We´d never seen so many sharks in just 2 dives, one of which was quite large and kept following us. Little did we know that all this shark wanted was the invasive lionfish that Bryan had just speared. We couldn´t have felt any safer there with Bryan as our guide, who has worked with all types of sharks in his home state of Florida. What an amazing experience! Patti and Bryan, you´ve left all of us with incredible memories of St. John. We will definitely be coming back for more!!

We had a wonderful week with Captain Bryan and Chef Patti. The food was fantastic! Carefully attending to my vegetarian dietary restrictions. Our favorite day was swimming and floating in the wates near Salt Pond, St. John. They were amazing at anticipating all of our needs and providing anything that we needed to help improve or make our journey more enjoyable. We arrived with two small boys (23 months and 3 years old) and they were so kind and generous with their time with them. It can be difficult with those ages and they were amazing, thanks so much!

Lie underneath the sail at full mast..hear the ripple of the wind. If you dare, take a seat facing the sea. The ocean spraying you as the boat does 9knts, no worries, you are in good hands. Bryan and a confident and skillful captain will keep you safe. Looking for a lesson? He´s your man. Patiently Bryan will tell you all he knows about sailing. You will likely work up a good appetite snorkeling, paddle boarding, and diving. Bryan knows all of the good spots to go. Patti takes over from here. IN her corner kitchen and hidden cabinets she is a master. The sun will likely have you up early, or maybe it will be the smell of bacon. You will come up to fruit on the table and coffee at the ready. Each and every meal Patti provided was a treat. If i had to pick a favorite it would be hard, but i would go with the crab cakes, although the ahi tuna bowl is a close second. Portion sizes were perfect, all selections felt healthy and delicious. Luxury is when you gather around a table with your family and friends, collect stories and memories from the day and are served dinner by this lovely couple. Run out of aperol for your spritzers? Take a look out on the water. Bryan will be on a paddle board returning to the boat with a borrowed bottle. The sun is setting behind him. You two spoiled us.

Thank you for making our first sailing charter everything we hoped it would be and more! You did an amazing job catering to the different wants and appetites of our group of six that included FOUR teenagers. The food was consistently THE BEST we´ve had in multiple trips to the Caribbean, including stays at 5 star resorts. Patti doing all of that in a galley kitchen is worthy of some special culinary award. Captain Bryan found amazing coves to stay and sights to see despite sustained 30 knt winds and the BVI closures made it seamless and such an enjoyable vacation. Your personality and deft skills are what make Time Out such an amazing experience.

What a way to end this most crazy year! This has been the most beautiful and relaxing week. The 4 of us came on with different expectations and all were met and passed. Watching Bryan and Patti work together so well..whistle while they work :) Bryan is a MOST capable captain! Food- oh my! It has been above and beyond, so much, so tasty, and so beautiful. Most beautiful scenery Bryan guided us through calm waters and some not so. Just can´t say enough good things. We WILL be back! We are 4 life long friends traveling for the first time together. Has been a great week of relaxing, laughing, and planning for next time!

This was an amazing experience on the Scuba Doo. Bryan was an awesome captain and Patti made and presented fantastic meals and appetizers.

I was able to learn how to snorkel and he took me to the bottom of the ocean. At 73 years, I am still able to do thinks I never thought I could.

Bryan took us to some amazing spots and we took a hike and saw some ruins and beautiful sunsets.

Captain Bryan was very capable and both he and Patti were so friendly and waited on you daily.

What a wonderful trip full of magical moments! Bryan and Patti have worked tirelessly and thoroughly spoiled us. They are professional and gracious hosts and handled every situation with a smile.

We were treated with Patti´s delicious meal every day - somehow each one even better than the last. The crab cakes and shrimp salad were my personal favorites! Bryan is a masterful captain and dive master and a really good teacher as well if you want to learn to sail or tie a bowline. They led us to the most beautiful bays with rainbows, turtle sightings, snorkeling and sunset views. We hiked to Annaberg Sugar Mill ruins and Rams Head trail - both INCREDIBLE! Our dives were fantastic, full of beautiful coral reef and colorful fish. We saw eels, stingrays, sharks, lion fish, porcupine fish and so many more...most memorable were the feisty crab Bran caught and released thanks to his skinny legs... and the 20´ LOBSTER who was not so lucky. We learned that cooking a 20´ lobster on a 18´ grill is a challenging but Bryan worked it out!

Stargazing, sunning under the sails, rocking to sleep in super comfy beds...we are so grateful Bryan and Patti for making this trip so special. We leave with memories we´ll hold forever and can´t wait for our next trip!

18 months ago we planned our crewed charter to the BVI´s and were all set to go - then COVID came. After navigating through 3 different charter boats and several travel dates we landed on Scuba Doo and to the government restrictions our sail was limited to the USVI. Having never sailed the USVI we were excited to sail new locations and see new things. Captain Bryan and Patti convinced us we would not be disappointed and they were so right! The boat was in great shape and the weather was just about perfect. Not only did we have outstanding travel partners (Patrick and Vicky) we visited pristine beaches, rode horses in the ocean, visited St Croix for the first time, jet skied, scuba dived, snorkeled and paddle board. All of this made possible by Bryan and Patti who made sure everything was perfect for us - especially the amazing food (kudos to Patti) and many MANY perfectly made cocktails. So while 2020 started out extremely crazy with a worldwide pandemic this week has been ´paradise on earth´ to say the least. We are so blessed.

Our family of three girls, 13 and twins 8, have had an outstanding trip around USVI, with Bryan, Patti and Scuba Doo. We circled the entire island of St John after leaving St Thomas. We couldn´t say enough about how hospitable Patti and Bryan have been to our entire family. They have been so accommodating with the kids, especially with the twins being at a pretty rambunctious age. Bryan took us on some amazing dives that the kids could snorkel afterwards. Truly, Bryan and Patti have been a huge part of a wonderful family vacation. Patti constantly had cocktails, amazing lunches, grilled mahi salad, her really cool 4th of July dinner, including Bryan´s family rib recipe. This was a lifelong family vacation. Truly bucket list spectacular! Rebooking for St Croix with this crew and Scuba Doo next year.

That was definitely what I thought when we had the opportunity to charter 13 days on the Scuba Doo. The time spent with Bryan and Patti surpassed all of my expectations regarding a crewed cat. Thank you for ensuring we had a most memorable vacation - week dives, night dives, turtles, horseback riding...the list is too long to continue. Patti, what can I say but thank you - have you ever cooked so much chicken, baked so much chocolate and brewed so much iced tea? Thank you for all of the attention to detail including the bottomless ice chest.

We are grateful for our time with you both, 13 was a lucky number for us :)

Dear Bryan and Patti,

This trip was amazing it was my first catamaran trip and it couldn´t have gone any better. I was so excited to celebrate my graduation in such a beautiful place with such beautiful people. You were so kind, fun and Patti was an awesome chef. Thank you so much for everything, taking us to the coolest places and being our guide. The highlight of my trip was definitely the pigs and bioluminescence. I wish you both the very best and I cannot wait to sail with you again.
