Accommodation Details
Windkind is a new Fountaine Pajot Thira 80 sailing catamaran launching in July 2026 and taking bookings from 9th December in the Caribbean. She is a vast catamaran with 5 cabins for 10 guests, comprising one master and one VIP each with a King/Queen sized bed and three additional double cabins. Each cabin is equipped with en-suite, air conditioning and ample storage.

This layout optimises the space below deck to provide each crew member with their own en-suite cabin. These thoughtful touches are what sets Windkind apart, the owner has diligently analysed what will fit best for the boat for charter but also allow crew to have their own space.

This 5 cabin version features the galley up so rather than the chef being hidden away, charter guests can witness the chef conjuring up all sorts of deliciousness.

Typical to Fountaine Pajot they have a door that leads directly from the saloon to the foredeck and aft there are double doors which open to spill seamlessly onto the aft dining and lounging areas. Sofas frame the aft deck allowing for plenty of seating and lounging options away from the dining table. Port and Starboard are folding wings to create balconies opening up the dining area even wider.

Up on the flybridge there are again multiple seating options and another dining table perfect for sunset cocktails or snacks under way.

The foredeck is the ultimate sun worshippers haven with vast, luxurious loungers in place of the nets typically seen on catamaran foredecks, also features sunken sofas and a deck jacuzzi!

The yacht is run with 4 professional crew who are there to take care of your every need.

All photos are of a sister ship and a full photoshoot will take place following the launch.

Captain Dave Lennon
Originally from Ireland, Dave has swapped the Emerald Isle for a career chasing the sunshine. With over a decade of experience in the yachting industry and more than 10,000nm to his name, Dave specialises in private and charter catamarans, with extensive expertise in overseeing maintenance and managing charter programmes.
Known for his meticulous, detail oriented approach, Dave ensures every charter is run to the highest standard. His in-depth knowledge of the Caribbean and Western Mediterranean allows him to create exceptional itineraries, guiding guests to both hidden gems and iconic destinations.
Passionate about the ocean, Dave is a PADI Divemaster, kitesurfing instructor, and keen wing foiler, bringing both professionalism and a sense of adventure to every charter.

Chef Shai Larrazabal
Shai first developed her culinary and hospitality skills on board yachts between 2017 and 2020 before embarking on a 2 year Grand Chef Diploma at the prestigious Culinary Institute of Barcelona. She has spent the past 4 years continuing to hone her skills in high end hotel restaurant kitchens. Ready to disembark on a new adventure, Shai brings with her a commitment to delivering exceptional standards as part of a team.
In her spare time, Shai unwinds with golf, tennis and yoga. She is a calm and creative problem-solver who thrives under pressure.

First Mate Aidan Brand

Growing up by the Atlantic Ocean sparked Aidan’s lifelong passion for boating, seamanship, and lifesaving. He trained extensively from a young age, competing nationally in surf, ski and lifesaving events. Here he developed strong leadership, teamwork, and emergency response skills.
Aidan has been around boats all his life, skippering sailing boats from age sixteen and completing his Day Skipper aged twenty. Professionally this was followed by two years deckhand experience where he gained hands-on engineering, plumbing, electrical, and maintenance skills, serving as First Mate/Engineer on a 92ft motor yacht in France.
Hardworking, respectful, and reliable, he joins WINDKIND as first mate with a view to progressing toward his full Captain’s Certification.

Stewardess Macayla Colin

Hailing from South Africa, Macayla brings over seven years of experience in front-of-house hospitality, including the last three years working on board yachts. Naturally creative, she has a keen eye for detail and presentation. Macayla thrives under pressure during service and is equally comfortable supporting in the galley or on deck when needed. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, swimming, painting, and photography.
