Yacht terms: All Inclusive
An all-inclusive charter covers all provisioning and running expenses. This includes a captain and crew that is fully trained and committed to your safety and enjoyment of your trip. A chef will provide the kind of exceptional, personalized meal preparation that you would expect of a five-star restaurant. The listed rate may not include all local taxes, cruising permits, premium beverages and scuba activities. Inquire for more information.

Relocation fee of $4000, minimum 72 hour turn required on either side of charter dates for boat transit. Please inquire for availability.

LESS THAN 7 NIGHT CHARTER RATES: For 6 night charters, divide weekly rate by 7 nights X 6 nights. For 5 nights or less, divide weekly rate by 6 nights X number of nights.
SLEEP ABOARD: 1/2 the daily rate. Dinner ashore at client´s expense. Includes; boarding after 4pm, welcome cocktail and breakfast the next morning and early start. For 6+ nights divide by 7 and 5 or less divide by 6.
HALF-BOARD OPTION: $150 discount per person
Includes; 7 breakfasts, 4 lunches & 3 dinners, all other meals to be eaten ashore at client´s expense.
LOCAL FARE OPTION: $105 discount per person

WINTER RATES: New Winter Season Rates begin when the new seasons starts on November 1 each year.
TIP: It is customary to tip your crew at the end of your charter. The amount you leave is totally at your discretion and should be based on the level of service provided. The suggested gratuity is 15%-20% of the total charter fee.

Moonshadow was 10/10 for my picky crew!
Wow! For my birthday my partner chartered the moon shadow with captain CJ for a week. To say we were spoiled is an understatement.
The boat was impeccably clean and the rooms were a good size / very comfortable. With ten friends who are a bit picky there was risk that someone would be stressed but amazingly everyone felt relaxed, well cared for, and had fun in the week. The logistics from the yacht vacay co were easy to follow, everything was on time, the itinerary was great and we looked so swaggy pulling in to each port.
The boat came with tons of things to do. My favorite was the efoil. As a snowboarder i understood the basic mechanics but was still thrilled by the feeling of flying - that was wild. We used the lily pad DAILY (even with swarms of jelly fish - captain CJ helped there). We also used the hot tub and the tv which were nice luxuries in the middle of the sea.
Iona the chef was next level!! She made the best key lime pie I’ve ever had and went over to top for my birthday with carrot cake and chocolate soufflés oh my gosh take me back! She even nailed the snacks having taken my note with an endless supply of my guilty pleasure - Doritos. Thank you Iona!! We loved your cooking.
Tilly the first mate was always kind and ensured no glass went empty (we had pain killers from morning to night!) she took care of all our needs and was helpful for troubleshooting if anything went wrong. She even showed a ton of grace in dealing with my last minute requests at 10pm right before she went off shift!
CJ - let’s gooo! Such a great captain. I felt confident and secure with him at the helm. He was always professional and had great ideas. He also has great stories that entertained us endlessly — ask him about his trip from Capetown to the Seychelles!

Bucketlist Trip
Spent 7 nights on Moon Shadow with Captain CJ, Tilley, and Iona. Traveled with 4 other couples. it was THE best week! The boat was beautiful. They efoil and sea bob were an absolutr blast! The crew made the charter extra special! Every meal was so delicious, and Captain CJ took us to the best spots in the BVI. Highly recommend!

Spectacular trip of a Lifetime
We just returned from a week on Moon Shadow cruising the British Virgin Islands with the most spectacular crew-Christina our chef prepared every meal as if we were in a 5 star restaurant tailoring every meal to every guests preferences. Our captain Lene and H were the perfect team in every way. Preparing itinerary, planning games, and providing for our every wish. Our crew was always smiling and engaging and really enhanced our whole trip experience. This was a fantasy trip in every way that everyone should experience in their lifetime. The luxurious yacht and breathtaking scenery exceeded our expectations. Would rate this as the best trip we have ever been on!

Moon Shadow is amazing. Clean, big, nicely equipped, etc, but the best part by far was the crew. Lené and H got us to the best spots. H hustled the entire time. Drinks, water toys and more. Christina gets a 10 with the food. So many special requests, but she didn´t skip a beat. The whole experience was off the chart!

The amount of detail and the attention to detail was outstanding! The boat itself is absolutely incredible, so beautiful and well kept! The back deck is set up perfectly for hanging out, eating with the most incredible views and so inviting! The interior was perfectly decorated and so inviting! The rooms were inviting and comfortable! Now once you get past the beauty of the boat this trip is all about the crew! I cannot say enough nice things about each one of them! They truly made this trip what it was! Christina’s food was the most amazing food I’ve had on a trip! I have a shrimp allergy and she was so kind to accommodate that and the food she made as a substitute was exceptional! Every single meal was “the best meal we’ve ever had” and I mean that! H was the best crew member ever, he waited on us hand and foot making sure our drinks were filled and we had lots of fun to do! He was always so kind to ask our many questions and he was the best host had games planned! And on to Lené was truly the Captain of all captains! She was so cool and collected, she was beyond capable and so sweet! She worked hard and made sure that our trip was planned to perfection. Map time was always our favorite to hear where we would be heading based on the weather! We were always so impressed with her attention to detail! Overall if you are considering this trip do it, you won’t be disappointed! I feel like we left knew this would be an amazing trip but had no idea we would leave feeling like it was truly the trip of a lifetime!!! The most incredible week of our lives!
Our week on Moon Shadow was the most incredible week we will never forget! Lené, H, and Christina were attentive to every single detail and went out of the way to make sure we had the best time. They were so fun and anticipated every need before we even knew we needed it! Christina’s food was unique and delicious, and we looked forward to every meal. That will definitely be missed at home. It was fun to eat new things we would never have tried on our own and realized we actually loved! We did so many things, every day was different, and the crew made it all so much fun. There was never a dull moment! We are sad to go home and hope to be able to cruise with Lené, H, and Christina again soon!!

Holy cow what a week!!! None of us knew what to expect when we stepped foot on to the Moon Shadow but in an instant i knew it was going to be an amazing week. Lene, H, and chef Christina were incredibly competent, kind, fun, and knew how to make sure we had the best time. Every detail was perfectly executed. The food was INCREDIBLE! Christina wowed us every single meal! I fell in love with the BVI and would book another vacation on Moon Shadow, with Lene, H, and Christina in a heartbeat!

Our week on Moon Shadow was the most incredible week we will never forget! Lené, H, and Christina were attentive to every single detail and went out of the way to make sure we had the best time. They were so fun and anticipated every need before we even knew we needed it! Christina’s food was unique and delicious, and we looked forward to every meal. That will definitely be missed at home. It was fun to eat new things we would never have tried on our own and realized we actually loved! We did so many things, every day was different, and the crew made it all so much fun. There was never a dull moment! We are sad to go home and hope to be able to cruise with Lené, H, and Christina again soon!!

Christmas Vacation in the BVI
Had the most amazing week ever on the Moon Shadow yacht! The food was incredible every day, and the views were unlike anything I´ve ever seen before. The feeling of waking up on the boat every morning and knowing the day would bring amazing activities is unmatched. The crew really made the vacation special as well. Moon Shadow….our favorite
Amazing….its the only word for our trip!! Moon Shadow is an incredible place to stay… comfortable and more roomy than we ever imagined. The crew are the best….safe fun and so caring!!! Our stateroom had everything we needed, the bed was far more comfortable than we expected and there was more room than we needed….
We were a group of ten and never felt crowded. Plenty of water activity and the toys to go with. We loved Moon Shadow under power, and truly enjoyed her under sail!!!!

5 star catamaran yacht trip around the BVI- outstanding!

We planned an amazing catamaran trip around the BVI with yacht vacations. John DeWurst assisted with the planning and coordinating, he was extremely responsive to all questions regarding planning and prep of the trip, payment, etc. Eight of us traveled on the amazing Moon Shadow with the best crew Captain Lene, First mate Herman (H) and chef Christina. The yacht is a 65ft catamaran with amenities you only see at a 5 star hotel. We had every water toy you could imagine, we had a great itinerary and everything was smooth and seamless. Captain Lene kept us safe, H kept us entertained and full of espresso, lattes and drinks while Christina left us speechless with her beautiful tablescapes and delicious meals and snacks! The food was better than any I’ve ever had in the Caribbean. This was a trip of a lifetime. The yacht and the crew are the best you can find. They took care of us every step of the way. We would do it all over and there’s nothing we would change! Truly amazing, this is the company you want to use, this is the yacht you want to be on and this is the crew you want to have!! Stellar!
A week in the BVI aboard the Moon Shadow catamaran Yacht

We just returned from a one week charter on the MOON Shadow. Our amazing crew Captain Lene, First Mate H, and Chef Christina went above and beyond with every detail to create an unforgettable experience for our week. The boat is spectacular - from the top deck with sweeping views while sailing to the dining table overlooking the water. Each space was comfortable, spotless, and simply delightful. We were treated like royalty with gourmet meals paired with craft cocktails each day. We sailed to gorgeous places and always, first and foremost, felt safe. Our trip was customized and curated to exceed all expectations. We cannot express enough gratitude to our crew for taking moments and making memories. A true bucket list trip with dear friends.
Best catamaran in BVI!
The Moon Shadow catamaran was turning heads wherever we went! We were stopped by people all over the islands asking about our boat. It’s a showstopper for sure! Captain Lene, and first mate H left no stone unturned to create the best experience for our group. They were so laid-back but yet had everything timed out perfectly. Our chef Christina served beautifully prepared, delicious meals, and snacks. I am completely blown away by how well they all three worked together behind the scenes to create such an amazing experience. Cannot recommend this boat and crew enough!!
AMAZING TRIP!!!
Our experience on the Moon Shadow with Captain Lene, First Mate H and Chef Christina was top notch. These three made our experience so much better than we could have ever imagined. The food was delicious and they made us all feel so welcomed. We are working on booking our next adventure on this boat with our teenage children.

For our family of 9, including 7 adult “children,” Moon Shadow was the best vacation we’ve ever enjoyed! The water activities offered hours of laughter and competition! The crew (thanks to Captain Lene and Deck Hand H) were not only capable, but endlessly accommodating! Our food (thank you, Chef Richard) was both beautiful and delicious, every meal topped the one before!! The boat was immaculate, stunning and spacious! The views were breathtaking, both on the boat and during shore excursions. The shore excursions were tailored to our desires…shopping, beach football, searching for the perfect island cocktail. The name “Moon Shadow” will forever bring a smile to our faces!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND, with no reservations!!
Heaven on the Moon Shadow

Our trip was 3 years in the making to get schedules to coordinate amongst our 4 couples. It was well worth the wait! We had such an unforgettable experience our feet haven’t touched the ground yet.
The Moon Shadow was a beautifully appointed yacht with all the amenities we needed and wanted. Captain Lene’, First Mate, H and our chef Sue took absolute tremendous care of us and did so with kindness and fun.
We spent 8 days aboard the vessel and our itinerary was mostly known but Lene’ made adjustments as needed (such as delaying a stop on one island to avoid the cruise ship crowd) and communicated with us daily, all the while making it clear that this was our trip.
It was a trip of a lifetime and a true vacation for the spirit, body and mind.
We are already thinking of planning our next charter!

I cannot write high enough praise for the Moon Shadow and its crew, Captain Lene, Deckhand H, and Chef Richard. The experience was fabulous from the time we arrived in the islands and the service was white glove. Each excursion the crew planned was exactly what our group was looking for and their insider knowledge of the island made everything a breeze. The food was absolutely top-notch and you´re lucky to be getting Chef Richard because he easily could be the head chef at a Michelin Star restaurant. If you are looking for the perfect getaway in the BVI, stop looking because you´ve found it aboard the Moon Shadow.

A week on Moon Shadow was more that expected. Having been on a BVI charter previously, this was next level. The boat was great but the crew was exceptional. Lené, Richard + H man made aspect of the trip special. Never once did they take the easy -way. Always above and beyond to make our experience amazing. Lené, thank you for the best Captain-ing we have experienced. Never a moment of stres as you bought us to the BEST spots at the BEST times. H we were never without a water toy, best mooring balls, cold beer, champagne refills or fishing rods. Richard what amazing food and far better jokes. Your food made our experience luxury. Wow Moon Shadow! What an amazing week. Every aspect of our trip was perfectly planned and executed. Lené as Captain made us feel safe and comfortable at all times. What can I say other than: wow! Everything about the experience was absolutely 5-star. The ship itself is immaculate, the quarters are spacious and comfortable, and the crew was as awesome as one could hope. It was the trip of a lifetime and I couldn’t recommend it more!
First Rate Vacation
Itinerary was so well thought out and executed. Crew was second to none. They were very proactive about safety, while making sure we were enjoying ourselves, not easy! Not to mention, the food was top notch, lobsters and crème brûlée just to name a couple examples. The catamaran itself was very comfortable, plenty of space for 8 passengers and 3 crew. I did not get seasick once for the 5 nights I spent on it. As for activities: snorkeling, island exploring, and just kicking back with a “few” painkiller cocktails at the bars was just the vacation I needed. Highly recommend! One tip, reapply sunscreen aggressively, BVI sun is very strong!

Our 7-day journey aboard the Moon Shadow was exceptional! Accompanied by four other couples and led by a crew of three, our exploration of the British Virgin Islands became an unforgettable adventure.
Captain Lené set the tone for our trip with her confident and friendly demeanor. She sailed us to all of the top spots in the BVI. The ´no stress´ approach of her deck hand, H, added a layer of tranquility, making every moment aboard relaxing.
Richard, our chef, was a culinary master who turned each meal into a delectable masterpiece. I would not miss a meal if I were you!
