Captain Tyler
Captain Tyler was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where a lifelong connection to the ocean began at an early age. Surrounded by a vibrant boating culture, Tyler naturally gravitated toward a career on the water and has since built a well-rounded resume operating both sailing and power yachts. His experience also includes serving as First Mate aboard larger luxury vessels, where he refined his skills in navigation, vessel management, and guest service.
Passionate about exploration and storytelling, Tyler spends his free time traveling, fishing, diving into watersports, and capturing his journeys through photography and video. His creativity and adventurous spirit shine both behind the lens and at the helm.
What Tyler enjoys most about chartering is the opportunity to create unforgettable experiences for his guests - introducing them to hidden gems, sharing local insights, and blending safety with fun to deliver a seamless and inspiring time at sea. His calm demeanor, professionalism, and genuine enthusiasm ensure that everyone aboard leaves relaxed, recharged, and filled with lasting memories.

Yacht terms: Plus Expenses*
*Cruising Permits, Fees, and Taxes to be paid by the Charterer upon entry to Cruising Grounds or Ports for all locations. Please inquire about rates and customary fees.
The price includes a professional crew operating your chartered yacht, but all running expenses such as fuel, tax, provisions and any other costs are extra. Calculate between 15-25% for a sailing yacht and 25-35% for a motor yacht on top of the given rate with an APA cash payment made to the ships agent or captain, who will keep an open tap and produce full accounts of all expenditures. Unused APA money will be refunded. Inquire for more information.

Pick Up/Drop Off: YHG - AYH, USVI
Yacht: Based in St. Thomas. USVI pick up and Drop off preferred, but BVI ports also accepted (please inquire for availability).
No more than 7 BVI pick ups in a year.
BVI Customs & Cruising Permit Fees: Included
MINIMUM NIGHTS: 5 - Inquire for less
For 6 night charters, divide weekly rate by 7 nights X 6 nights.
For 5 nights or less, divide weekly rate by 6 nights X number of nights.
SLEEP ABOARD: Available for half of the daily rate. Includes boarding after 4pm and dinner is required to be taken ashore. Select option upon booking.
EXCLUDES: Christmas and New Year´s weeks.
25/26 HOLIDAYS: 7 night minimum
CHRISTMAS: 1-6 pax @ $13,000 Must end on or before 12/27

We had an incredible experience with Dustin and Josiah from Blackfisk, and I can’t recommend them highly enough. Dustin’s professionalism stood out from the start—his deep knowledge of sailing and navigation gave us total confidence throughout the journey. Whether we were cruising open waters or anchoring in a quiet cove, everything felt smooth and expertly handled. Josiah impressed us all with his outstanding culinary skills; every meal was delicious, creative, and beautifully prepared. Captain Dustin was awesome. He was super knowledgeable, very accommodating, great with the kids, and helped us to create an itinerary that was perfect everyone. Really an exceptional experience.
