Five ensuite staterooms luxuriously accommodate up to 12 guests, featuring an ondeck Master, a lower VIP with King, an additional custom KING stateroom mid-ship and two Twin cabins with Pullman berths- one Twin cabin is aft via a separate staircase and is ideal for older kids. All staterooms are equipped with HD TV´s, Apple TV, Crestron. All staterooms have been refurbished and redesigned to create unique and modern spaces with a luxurious feel. The ondeck master has a King bed at the centerline, a comfortable lounging area to port and a vanity table to starboard with plenty of storage and a full hanging closet. The master ensuite features double granite sinks, full shower, separate bathtub and a separate toilet and bidet closet.

Below deck features the well-appointed VIP with King bed, vanity, walk in closet and ample storage space. The Portside KING stateroom is just aft of the VIP, mid-ship. Also Midship, the Starboard Twin stateroom has amble space, hanging closet and a spacious pullman. Another Twin stateroom is aft with a separate staircase. This stateroom is ideal for older kids or an adult seeking just a bit more privacy, this room also has a hanging closet and Spacious pullman.

Sea Axis has a large music and movie library for all genres. The promenade outdoor seating and “Drive-In” style movie experience is one of a kind; with top of the line reverse, short-shot projection onto a 130” screen for some of the best outdoor movie viewing. The Lido deck bar has been completely refitted with 4 built in subwoofers and 6 overhead and side speakers giving top of the line sound quality.

Captain- Nick Veselica

Nick was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. He grew up sailing and power boating with his father in Lake Michigan and spent many summers in South Florida. Nick and his father rebuilt a sunken catamaran during his high school years then sailed the Bahamas during holidays for many years. Nick moved to South Florida in 2009 permanently due to his love for the ocean. He graduated from Lynn University in 2012 with his Bachelors in Business Administration. During his time in school, he worked on yachts as a mate and then as a captain.

Nick has now been working on yachts for 10 years and has managed a successful Yacht Management company. He also has completed numerous yacht refits. Nick has a passion for project management and enjoys seeing the reaction of a happy client.

Education: Bachelor´s in Business Management, STCW, Advanced firefighting, 200 Ton USGC / 500 Ton IGT



Mike McDermott - Relief Captain

Captain Mike grew up in South Florida and always had a strong love of the ocean even as a young child. Mike loved to watch Jacques Cousteau as a kid and was always fascinated by the sea both above and below the surface. At age 18 he learned to scuba dive and his entire world changed. Initially, he found himself working on dive boats locally before shifting to the Bahamas and eventually getting into yachting. As his experience and knowledge grew, Captain Mike knew he had found his calling which led him to pursue and achieve his Captains license.

With over 20 years of experience in the yachting industry, Captain Mike has demonstrated himself to be a very enthusiastic, experienced, and organized leader. Captain Mike has a long history in the industry and has worked on a variety of charter and private yachts. He is very experienced and knowledgeable of cruising areas around the US East and West coast, Canada, the Caribbean, Mexico, and Alaska. He has a fantastic way with guests, including children, and demonstrates tact, patience, and professionalism. He has a fun, can-do attitude and a wonderful sense of adventure and exploration, which benefits all the passengers. Captain Mike has built up an experienced and efficient team that is now working alongside him and will make every effort to ensure your charter runs smoothly and efficiently to guarantee you the perfect trip every time.



First Mate- Bryan Meltcher

Bryan was born in Illinois and raised in California. He relocated to Florida for school in 2005 and fell in love with the ocean. He has spent most of his time in South Florida around boats. Bryan jumped into the industry because of all the traveling he has done on his friend´s boats and loved the idea of working on boats.

Before yachting Bryan worked in high-end hotels so it has been a nice transition from one to another. Bryan does not see himself doing anything else and feels he has found his place. Bryan has now worked in the yachting world for 7 years.

Education: Bachelor´s in Hospitality and Sports Management, STCW 95´ Powerboat level 2 inland/coastal planning, RYA Essential navigation and seamanship, Basic and Advanced firefighting.



Chef- Nelson Cartegena

Chef Nelson is Originally from Queens New York. Upon graduating from high school, Nelson enlisted in the US Army where he served 6 years of active duty service. After leaving the service, Nelson attended the University of Central Florida where he studied finance and completed his degree. Finding that he HATED every minute of studying finance Nelson decided to make a change and enroll in Culinary school to follow his passion for cooking. The journey has taken him to several interesting locations around the world. Nelson has been on motor yachts as a Temp. Chef for 4 years and after he spent a year as a full-time Chef in the Leeward and Windward islands. Nelson´s hobbies are Fishing / Boating / Diving / Working out / Spending time with loved ones / and Traveling.



Chief Stew - Bri

Bri, 29, grew up in Malibu, CA and went to the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising to pursue a career in Fashion Design. After discovering the yachting industry a few months after graduation, she has never looked back. Yachting combines her passions of the ocean, travel, and service all into one career. Having almost circumnavigated on a previous expedition yacht, Bri has been able to experience some of the most remote places in the world. Over the last decade, she has gained experience on several different yachts ranging from 40m - 75m. Her professionalism, positivity, and sincere personality will make you feel right at home onboard any vessel. In her spare, Bri enjoys hiking, surfing, diving, and anything outdoor-related.

Bri looks forward to providing an exceptional experience aboard Sea Axis and will ensure our guests leave with unforgettable memories.



Second Stew - Karen

Karen is passionate about books, salsa dancing, and hikes. Karen left Colombia in her early twenties to be part of an exchange program and learn about American culture while working as an Au Pair. Later on she joined the hospitality industry as a personal assistant, Spanish teacher, tour guide, housekeeper, waitress and other service related roles. Karen believes you can light up someone’s day by paying attention to small details or simply sharing a genuine gesture; being helpful to others is part of who she is as a human being.



Chief Engineer- Charles Jones
Education/Certifications: STCW 95, AEC 1-2, Advanced Firefighting, Medical First Aid, HELM, Proficiency in Small Craft Rescue Boat, Vessel Personnel with Designated Security Duties
Languages Spoken: English

Charles Jones grew up in the small Jamaican city of Mandeville along with his two older sisters. As a child, his hobbies included martial arts, dancing and playing the violin. He was introduced to yachting at the age of 20; the details that go into the construction and maintenance of a vessel are what inspired him to pursue a career in the industry. He began as a marine vessel repair specialist and devoted 14 years to learning the intricacies of repair, design, custom modifications, and refits on yachts and other vessels. Charlie is excited to join SEA AXIS as Engineer while continuing to expand his knowledge of the yachting industry and strive for excellence in all aspects of his career. When not working on charter yachts, Charlie enjoys rebuilding and riding motorcycles, free diving, jet skiing and other water sports, and exploring new places.



Deck Hand- Cameron King

My name is Cam, born and raised in Indiana and moved to South Florida when I was 19 to pursue yachting. I enjoy working out, hanging out with family and friends, and listening to music during my downtime. I strive to be the best version of myself every day and to help as many people as I can. I have been yachting for 6 years and have a great passion for it and plan to become a yacht captain in the near future.

The prices shown are for the entire yacht for a week-long (7 nights) charter.
Low price: $99,000

High price: $150,000

The high and low prices of this yacht depend on both the number of guests and the traveling season. Send us an inquiry for exact pricing.
Yacht terms: Plus Expenses
The price includes a professional crew operating your chartered yacht, but all running expenses such as fuel, tax, provisions and any other costs are extra. Calculate between 15-25% for a sailing yacht and 25-35% for a motor yacht on top of the given rate with an APA cash payment made to the ships agent or captain, who will keep an open tap and produce full accounts of all expenditures. Unused APA money will be refunded. Inquire for more information.

Day Charter rate:

$19,000 plus 4% Tax, plus 10% VAT for up to 12 guests.
20% mandatory crew gratuity - needs to be collected at the time of contract (FOR DAY CHARTERS ONLY!)

- 8hr cruise to Rose Island
- Continental Breakfast, Surf and Turf Lunch, Snacks, Open Bar and Beverages for up to 12 guests. (house wines, beer and standard liquor - no premium brands)
- Dockage at Bay Street Marina is also included but transportation from Hotel to Bay Street Marina is charterer´s expense.
- 36´ tender
- Gratuity is not included in the rate and is 20%
