CAPTAIN- MANUEL FRIETEZ- AMERICAN
With more than 26 years at sea, Captain Manuel has just about seen it all! He began his career in the merchant marine, working his way up to command massive tankers and passenger ships on voyages all over the world. Along the way, he even captained ships supporting United Nations humanitarian missions, earning an impressive collection of international honors for his leadership.

Today, Manuel puts all that experience to work making sure guests have the time of their lives. He has been at the helm of Real Summertime since 2025, guiding guests through the turquoise waters of the Caribbean, the Virgin Islands, the Exumas and the Florida Keys. Before that, he spent six years as captain of a 120ft Benetti, cruising the East Coast, Florida and the Bahamas. Charter guests and brokers rave about his calm confidence, warm hospitality and the smooth, safe trips he runs for every group.

Away from the wheelhouse, Manuel is a true music lover who plays the mandolin, and he also enjoys staying fit, playing sports, cooking and spending time with his dogs. With Captain Manuel in charge, you can sit back, relax and let the adventure begin!

DECKHAND- ABBEY DUNLOP- AMERICAN
Abbey brings an adventurous spirit and strong work ethic to every charter. Originally from the American Midwest, she has spent the past year building her career in yachting, gaining hands-on experience aboard both private and charter vessels throughout Florida and the Bahamas. With a background in guest service, watersports, and outdoor leadership, Abbey is known for her positive attitude, reliability, and dedication to creating exceptional experiences on board. When she´s not on the water, she enjoys skiing, staying active outdoors, and exploring new destinations, always seeking her next adventure.

CHIEF STEWARDESS- NICOLLE MACEDO- BRAZILIAN
Nicolle has built her career on making an interior run like clockwork while never losing the warmth that guests remember long after they’ve disembarked. Originally from Brazil and fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, she brings an easy, genuine hospitality to every vessel she steps aboard, backed by eight years of hands on experience across both private and charter yachts.

Nicolle has worked her way through nearly every corner of the interior department, from Sole Stewardess to Chief Stewardess to Cook/Stew, most recently leading the interior as Chief Stewardess aboard the 112ft M/Y Double Eagle, where she managed the entire department, assisted in the galley, and delivered polished table service for up to ten guests at a time. Her resume spans yachts from 60 to 207 feet across the Bahamas, the US East Coast, and the Caribbean, and she’s just as comfortable behind the bar crafting cocktails as she is arranging flowers, running provisioning, or jumping in on lines and fenders when the deck needs a hand.

CHEF- OZEAS MENDES- BRAZILIAN
Born and raised in Brazil, Chef Ozeas brings over 20 years of global yachting and culinary experience to the charter world. Having worked as Head Chef on prestigious private and charter yachts—including M/Y Fortitude, M/Y Island Heiress, M/Y Grade 1, M/Y Second Love, M/Y Cherish II, and many others. He has mastered international cuisine with a focus on fresh, healthy, high‑end dishes.
His career has taken him across the Caribbean, Mediterranean, Pacific, and beyond, cooking for VIP guests, managing provisioning in remote locations, and delivering memorable dining experiences at sea. Trained at renowned culinary institutions such as Cordon Bleu and the International Gastronomy School, he combines classical technique with creativity and a deep passion for flavor.
Off duty, Ozeas is an adventurer at heart. He loves exploring new cultures, staying active, and drawing inspiration from the places he travels, fueling the vibrant, globally influenced dishes he´s known for.


MATE- GEORGIA DOVER- AMERICAN
Georgia fell in love with the ocean at a young age and has been chasing adventure ever since! While earning her degree at the University of California, Santa Barbara, she spent her summers backpacking, surfing and sailing her way through 31 countries. Somewhere between the waves and the passport stamps, she knew a life at sea was her calling.

A licensed captain, Georgia has skippered day cruises and private charters along the beautiful Santa Barbara coast and taken guests on overnight trips to the Channel Islands. Her sailing adventures have also taken her across the Philippines, around Africa’s famous Cape of Good Hope and on a long passage from Mexico to California. She even once sailed a boat with no working engine all the way into its slip! Calm, capable and always smiling, Georgia makes every guest feel safe and right at home on the water.

Off duty, Georgia loves surfing, sailing, exploring new places and kicking around a soccer ball. She even picked up some bartending skills at a little beach bar in Jamaica, so don’t be surprised if she mixes up a sunset cocktail! With her adventurous spirit and warm personality, Georgia is sure to make your time aboard Real Summertime a blast.

ENGINEER- YORATAN ZAKEN- AMERICAN
Holding both American and Israeli citizenship, Yonatan started his career as Chief Engineer aboard a high-speed naval patrol boat, where he led his own team and learned to solve problems fast and under pressure. He has since brought those skills to the yachting world, working aboard beautiful motor yachts like the 135ft Baglietto M/Y Matrix and the Benetti M/Y Arthur’s Way.

Whether it’s fine-tuning the engines, keeping every system in top shape or tackling a tricky repair before anyone even notices, Yonatan makes sure guests can relax and enjoy every moment on board. His laid-back, no-drama attitude makes him a favorite with crew and guests alike.

When he’s off duty, Yonatan is all about adventure. You might find him wakeboarding behind the tender, racing FPV drones, tearing up the trails on his dirt bike or capturing the perfect sunset with his camera. He also loves to cook and hits the slopes on his snowboard whenever he can. With Yonatan on board, you’re in very good hands!


2ND STEWARDESS- FIONA BARAN- AMERICAN
Born and raised in sunny South Florida, Fiona practically grew up on the water, spending her childhood fishing, boating and free-diving the reefs. So it’s no surprise she found her way to yachting! A former college soccer star turned nursing graduate, Fiona brings big team spirit and a naturally caring touch to every charter.

Fiona is all about the little details that make a trip unforgettable. Think fresh flower arrangements, creative themed table settings, perfectly mixed cocktails and turndowns that make guests feel right at home. Traveling with kids? She’s famous for her onboard treasure hunts and is always ready to jump in on the watersports fun.

When she’s not pampering guests, you’ll find Fiona free diving, fishing, cooking up something tasty or hitting the slopes on her snowboard. With her bubbly personality and endless positive energy, Fiona is sure to make your Real Summertime charter one to remember!
