Captain Isaac has been sailing since a teen and loves every aspect. Once he got his first boat he has never stopped sailing and traversing the Atlantic Ocean and the entirety of Caribbean. Isaac holds a master license as well as sailing endorsements. On top of sailing he has worked in all other fields of the boating world. Isaac loves every aspect of the water including surfing, fishing, free diving, spear fishing, great food, and meeting other ocean loving friends. Isaac never plans to stop pursuing his dream of sailing, traveling, and meeting great people!

Chef Briana grew up in the great outdoors of Maine. Always active, she spent her summers hiking, camping, and sailing the mid-coast with her family. In the winter she enjoyed skiing, playing hockey, and ice fishing.
After graduating from Johnson & Wales University with a B.S. in Business Management she had an exciting corporate career which introduced her to international travel. Intrigued and wanting to learn more, she left the US in 2017 to travel full time. Over the past 6 years she´s traveled to more than 50 countries and has lived and worked/volunteered in several.
Bri has a passion for adventure and learning new skills. Some of her favorite gigs have been working as a river guide in Costa Rica, an English teacher in Bali, a supplier to the United Nations in Africa, and serving at several wildlife refugee centers across the world. She fell in love with the ocean in Thailand while learning to scuba dive, and it´s been hard to keep her out of the water ever since! Her scuba & marine life obsession is what eventually got her back into sailing, as she joined a sailing expedition to explore and dive the Tuamotus archipelago of French Polynesia. Since that voyage, she has crewed on dozens of different vessels becoming a strong and confident sailor. Bri is now embracing life in the Caribbean where she has island hopped from Florida to Grenada and started her charter career.
Through her travels, Bri has seen how food unites people. Bri has always enjoyed cooking for others and being able to combine her love for sailing and the ocean with hosting and cheffing on charter has been a perfect fit. Using fresh local ingredients, she brings techniques learned from Italian Nonna´s, Costa Rican Abuela´s, and Thai spinsters to create delicious nutritious meals to power your day. Bri is looking forward to sharing her food with you!

Captain did a phenomenal job! It was an absolute pleasure working with him, he was so good with sending me pics and staying in contact. I would highly recommend this yacht and book again without hesitation. They had a fantastic time and could not fault the captain. She gave him a 10/10 and thought he was amazing. They enjoyed the food, and admitted they indulged- it was part of their vacation. This was their first charter, and thanks to their experience on PURA VIDA they are now “Boat People”- as she put it.

Hi Rod,

I am pleased to say the return of my client for her second charter of PURA VIDA was an enormous success. She is a very experienced and frequent Charterer of motor yachts, at up to 3 times price of PURA VIDA,

She was last aboard in March 2019 in the Caribbean with the previous Owner and Crew.

I am delighted that her report indicates the high standards for both PURA VIDA as a yacht, and the Owner’s commitment to exemplary crew, remain!

Charterer comments:

“The crew are phenomenal. For a smaller boat this crew rocks it! They work great together to make for a seamless experience. The boat is in impeccable shape. The Captain put together a wonderful itinerary for our trip that catered to everyone in our group. The food was fantastic. The head stew made sure our every need was met and made arrangements for everything we wanted to do so that we didn’t have to lift a finger. The bosun Charlie was fantastic. She handled the tender with ease and was very kind to everyone. Love to see a woman in that role!!! A++.”

Hi Rod,

I spoke with Mr.... yesterday and they had a wonderful experience onboard Pura Vida. He made a special point to tell me that the crew was particularly good and the capt was fabulous. The meals were incredible and everything was just perfect. He also really appreciates that the owner allowed him to bring his own boat along for the charter and it worked out very well having it there. All-in-all, a perfect charter.

Thank you for your assistance and I am sure Mr..... will be back to do it again. He has also referred us to one of his friends who is now interested in Pura Vida as well. More to come -

Cheers,
