Step aboard the 2023 48-foot Dufour Catamaran, thoughtfully designed to host up to eight guests in four queen cabins. Its perfectly balanced layout - dividing the deck plan, cockpit, flybridge, and foredeck into equal thirds - creates a harmonious flow between indoor and outdoor living in every season. At the bow, two expansive sunbathing areas offer prime spots for soaking up warm rays and gentle sea breezes. Ascend twin stairways to the generous flybridge, where a low central table is surrounded by plush seating and broad sunpads beneath a protective bimini - an idyllic perch for panoramic views or relaxed afternoons at sea. Aft, the cockpit unfolds like an open-air living room, featuring a teak dining table for eight, multiple seating and relaxation zones, and a built-in gas plancha for effortless alfresco dining. Large portholes flood the lower salon with natural light, and a sliding window door opens fully to merge cockpit and indoor lounge into one seamless entertainment space. Inside, the open-plan salon invites convivial gatherings beneath a 360° sea-facing panorama, while the fully equipped, ergonomic galley flows naturally towards the cockpit. A versatile sofa-dining unit adapts from cozy lounge to elegant table or even an extra double berth, and wide wraparound windows bathe the interior in warm daylight. Captain Mufit Umar
Captain Mufit Umar brings over 15 years of professional maritime experience and more than 30,000 nautical miles under his belt - from the rocky coastlines of New England to the turquoise waters of the Bahamas, Caribbean, and beyond. Holding a USCG 100T Master License with Sailing and Towing endorsements, he’s helmed both monohulls and multihulls, power and sail, for private charters, deliveries, and training expeditions.
As a certified ASA and American Boating instructor (201, 203, 204, 214), Mufit has spent years teaching sailors of all levels. Whether guiding guests through their first time at the helm or leading experienced crews on challenging routes, he’s known for his calm confidence, patience, and emphasis on safety without ever compromising the fun.
With a strong background in offshore deliveries and charter command, Mufit’s skill set goes beyond navigation - he’s a meticulous planner, an expert in vessel systems and maintenance, and a natural leader who ensures smooth, secure voyages every time.

Hailing from Charleston, South Carolina, Chef Julie Byrne brings refined Southern warmth, worldly experience, and a deep love for fresh, flavorful ingredients to every charter aboard. With nearly a decade of yachting under her belt, she’s worked on prestigious private and charter programs across the Mediterranean, Caribbean, and Pacific, including transatlantic passages and vessels up to 70 meters.
Julie’s culinary style is elegant yet approachable - effortlessly blending vibrant flavors, colorful presentation, and guest preferences into beautifully balanced meals. From island-inspired lunches and bright, wholesome breakfast bowls to romantic dinners under the stars, her menus are tailored to suit the rhythm of each day on board. The crew made the vacation but the boat had issues.
Katie - We were thankful for the experience of Captain Dwight - if it weren´t for him and Chef Shakeera, this bucket list vacation would not have had the same outcome. The boat had several mechanical issues but because of Dwight´s experience and his ability to switch gears/work around issues and change courses, he still delivered a beautiful experience for our vacation.
Favorite Family Vacation Ever!
Our group of 8 (mom/dad, 22 & 20 year old daughters and 2 friends & 16 year old son and a friend) had a perfect week on Walkn on Sunshine. We island hopped and enjoyed incredible meals prepared by Marielle. She is amazing - every meal was delicious and her energy is great to be around. We enjoyed a few marina stays (Oil Nut Bay, Spanish Town and Scrub) and moored a few nights (definitely recommend reserving via Boaty Ball as the first come first serve balls go quickly). We hit all our favorite BVI spots and had great family time. Can’t say enough great things about Walkn on Sunshine and Marielle - can’t wait to go back!
Best Charter Ever!!!!
An absolutely amazing vacation! We cannot express our gratitude enough to Captain Bryan and Jaden. They were an amazing team and made our 4th time sailing the BVI´s by far the best! The meals, itinerary, yoga (yes, Bryan even led us in yoga which was a bonus!) was all top notch. Plus they made our daughter´s 21st birthday celebration extra special!! But best of all - it was not having to worry about anything because they had it all under control. It was a true vacation. The only thing that was sad was leaving them!

Where do I begin…..From the moment we arrived Bryan and Nina worked tirelessly in EVERY aspect to ensure our group of 9 were happy and safe!
Nina happily adjusted meal plans more than once, obtained additional requested provisions, and went the extra mile to decorate for special occasions that took place during our stay.
Bryan was always keeping watch over the weather to ensure we sailed the safest and most comfortable routes. He was dedicated on maintaining the mechanical workings of the boat so that all was in tip top shape. He also provided beautiful table scapes for our evening dinners as well.
The two of them worked endlessly together doing dishes, and keeping the boat clean which was no easy feat with such a large group on board.
We loved all of our chats with Bryan and Nina, getting to know them on a personal level made them quickly feel like family to us.
You have not lived unless you´ve had a Bryan & Nina!!
We are blessed to have experienced such an unforgettable trip with the two of them! We will miss them very much but look forward to keeping in touch and following your upcoming adventures!
Trip of a lifetime
I’m not sure how to put this trip into words. We have traveled to many great places and this week has been by far one of the greatest trips ever. Bryan and Bri are fantastic and we could not have asked for a better crew. We will have stories for life and glad Bryan and Bri were part of it. From the amazing food Bri prepared daily to the beach days and Bryan teaching us the ropes of handling the boat. We even had a blast riding out the tropical storm for one night. The boat is a great size with everything you need on board. Beds are very comfortable and rooms have plenty of space. The places to sit and take in the views are numerous and none are bad. They crew never stops making sure all things are covered to make the trip unforgettable. This was an anniversary trip for us and another couple and it may never be topped. We will definitely be going back and Bryan and Bri will have to be part of it

Our stay was exceptional and chaotic as is anything with our two families. Bryan and Nina were awesome always being available and enthusiastic during our stay and we look forward to coming back in the future.
