Equipped with two 180 kW engines and a set of 550 kWh batteries, the super cat OTOCTONE is fitted with Sunreef Yachts’ revolutionary solar power system with panels fully integrated with the composite structures. Thanks to this technology, the Sunreef 80 Eco provides unrivaled solar power for extended range and clean cruising. The 4-cabin catamaran boasts a custom-tailored layout to accommodate 8+1 guests in full luxury. Her interiors stand out with a contemporary and refined look, accentuated by designer furniture and light natural fabrics. The main saloon’s panoramic glazing lets plenty of natural light in, enhancing the feeling of space. The full-beam aft cockpit offers a fantastic dining space with ocean views, a daybed, a drinks bar and a hydraulic platform to enjoy long sunning sessions and watersports. The bow terrace of OTOCTONE is a wonderful retreat with spectacular views. The flybridge is quite possibly the catamaran’s best alfresco dining spot, with a large modular table, numerous seating options and a bar with barbecue.
Based in Porto-Vecchio, OTOCTONE will be sailing in Corsica and Sardinia during summer 2024. She is also accepting bookings for America’s Cup in Barcelona.

Captain: Achille Lefrere

Captain Achille was born and raised in Porto-Vecchio, in one of the best places for sailing in the Western Mediterranean, where he developed a strong passion for the sea.

With a dream to circumnavigate the globe, within a year spent in Australia, Achille acquired all the certification needed to work on a yacht and joined a 30 m sailing catamaran. He has gained valuable skills and extensive knowledge since then and is nowhere more at home than at the helm. With more than 10 years at sea, Achille has taken vessels to many parts of the world, including Mediterranean, Egypt, Caribbean, Bahamas, the East coast of the USA, Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia.

An experienced navigator and marine engineer, advanced open water PADI diver and kite surfer, Achille has a generous amount of knowledge to share and takes great pride in creating tailor-made sailing experience for each charter on board OTOCTONE.

Chef: Sophie Chadefaux

Sophie was born in Paris but spent all her childhood in Lille, a city North of France. After her studies, she decided to start a new adventure and she left France to learn English and become a Diving Instructor. For the last few years, she has travelled through Australia, South America, Asia and Africa.

5 years ago, she decided to come in the Yachting Industry and instantly loved this fast paced, ever adapting industry. It has grown her as an individual and reminded her daily of her love for cooking and making her guests happy.

She can utilize her culinary skills and passion for cooking that she learnt from her mum every day and she loves the challenge to make new kind of food every week to please the guests.
She can cook a wide variety of cuisines from everywhere as she took a lot of courses from her past travels to create unique dishes and an extraordinary dining experience.

Stewardess: Tania Plantier

Born in the South of France, she grew up enjoying the outdoors and fell in love with the ocean when living in Sri Lanka.

As she grew older, she couldn’t stay in one place and started working as a tourist guide around the world, always near water. She sailed through the Panama Canal every day for 3 months, before heading to Northern Norway and work her way as a guide around nature and animals.

She has crossed the Atlantic both ways and sailed the Med, Caribbean, North American East coast and Pacific Coast of Central America since joining the industry in 2021.

She enjoys the lifestyle and the challenges working on a boat brings. The hectic rhythm, the different places, and the people we meet, are all the things that make her appreciate this industry.
