Sports and Nautical Background

Sports
Since early childhood I was competing in the local sailing club where I won many
regattas and national championships in youth classes during the years. Besides
sailing I was playing ice hockey in my home town club where I won many
tournaments and junior national championship. In 1995 I participated in my first
Yacht Club regatta for racer cruisers in Greece. The same year I became the cofounder
of Yacht Club ´Neoplanta 1748´ which, just in few years, became the
biggest Yacht Club in the country with around 80 members. On behalf of Yacht
Club I have been organising and participating as a skipper in 4 to 5 regattas every
year until today. Besides many regattas in Croatia, Italy and Greece I won national
championships in 2003, 2004 and 2005.

Nautical Background

Nautica has been my recreational deal until 2001, when became my professional
interest which I performed independetly by 2005. Since then I have been
navigating through the waters of Medditerranean and European Atlantic coast on
catamarans, sailing and power yachts. I have made Atlantic Ocean crossing as a
captain on Lagoon 55 ´NOMAD´ from Zadar, Croatia to British Virgin Islands,
Caribbean (route long 6.000 nautical miles) and sailed thru Caribbean waters thru
winter season. There are 30 years of navigtion behind me, around 120.000
nautical miles and a lot of returning groups of satisfied clients.

Yacht Sales

In 2005 I started my permanent employment in ´Nava Boats´ company´s loft in
Novi Sad as a yacht sales manager and a professional skipper. Company was
distributor for Princess Yachts, Lagoon Catamarans, Beneteau Group, Sea Ray,
Boston Whaler, Baja, Riviera etc.
I have successfully completed numerous yacht sales for clients, serving both
private ownership and charter management purposes including accompanying
after sales services such as conducted sailing training courses, sea deliveries,
retrofitting equipment, maintenance services, as well as consulting in marine
solutions thru insurance, off shore yacht registration, charter management
arrangements, start up company establishing, financing.
