Huntress is a beautiful 2014 Lagoon 620 catamaran. The reputation of this yacht as the pinnacle of style and luxury is well earned. The design of the 620 has been perfected for socializing with seemingly endless space both above and below deck. With multiple dining, living, sunbathing, and lounge areas to choose from, you will always have the space to sneak away for some shade or to read a book.... or you can choose to get as involved as you desire. The salon is extremely spacious, thanks to well thought out style and intelligent design with large windows ensuring all are able to enjoy the beautiful scenery from the salon in 360 degrees. It features a U-shaped sofa and coffee table for lounging. The exterior of Huntress is equally impressive. You can relax on the perfectly configured deck spaces that are equipped with areas for socializing without sacrificing privacy. There is no better way to revel under the Caribbean sun. The covered flybridge is home to a huge comfortable and sleek sofa and additional bench seat. It is the perfect space to enjoy the beautiful views, gorgeous sunsets, and witness the amazing milky way while at anchor. The comfort and views of the flybridge make it the best place to be, while underway, for dancing the night away and enjoying sunrise yoga. The boat is fully equipped with snorkeling equipment and an abundance of water toys. For those interested in scuba, Huntress has an assortment of top-of-the-line dive gear for that off-the-boat diving experience. Your captain is a fully certified Divemaster and would love to share his passion for diving with his guests and can lead guests on their dives. After an adventure filled day of water sports, swimming, diving, or on-shore excursions, enjoy the well-lit and large cockpit dining area as you enjoy a world class meal with your friends and family. Enjoy a handmade cocktail prepared just for you by your professional crew right there at the cockpit bar. Top-tier service is central to life onboard Huntress, and only adds to the exclusive feel of this impressive experience. You will know the meaning of peace, relaxation and class when you charter with us on Huntress. Swimming in the turquoise waters of the Caribbean you´ll wonder why you never did this sooner. Huntress hosts up to 8 guests in four queen-sized, air-conditioned cabins. Each cabin has its own, private ensuite bathroom with a separate shower. The master suite is elegant and roomy and includes seating/lounge area and desk, queen size berth, large glass shower stall and separate vanity area and offers direct access to aft deck for slipping out to gaze at the stars and take a midnight dip off the stern. The master suite also has direct private access to the main salon.

We use organic/locally grown produce when available. We provide guests with reef friendly sunscreen and bath products/toiletries. We provide filtered water to limit single use plastics. We provide re-usable water/beverage tumblers to limit plastic/disposable cup use. We use marine/reef friendly dish soap and cleaning products for the interior and exterior of the yacht.\ We use re-usable grocery bags. We are affiliated with ´Sailors for the Sea´ - Keeping our Waters Blue by Boating Green! Our crew are guided by this organization in reducing our footprint. We support ´Sailors for the Sea´ initiatives. We provide information to our guests on the best practices for ´Traveling Green´ Inspiring our guests on the importance of the preservation of our oceans and the beautiful islands in which we vacation.

MEET THE CREW - 2022/23 SEASON
Captain: Chris Klopper
Chef: Lida Fourie
Steward/Deckhand: JD Veldsman
Chris grew up in a seaside town in the Western Cape of South Africa. A career on the water seemed a natural step for Chris whose first role in yachting was with a sailing academy. After completing his captain’s qualification, he conducted deliveries and worked as a bosun before joining the charter industry with his long-term partner Lida. Chris is an all-round water sports enthusiast who enjoys surfing, kite surfing and wakeboarding. He is also an experienced Dive Master who loves to spend time leading guests on tours of the underwater world.
Lida grew up in the same town as Chris and primarily worked in hospitality as a waitress, bar manager and chef before she joined him in yachting. Professionally trained in fine dining catering by the Ashburton School in the UK, Lida is an experienced chef who strives to meet her guests’ wide range culinary preferences. She enjoys sourcing quality locally grown ingredients to produce creative, great tasting, beautifully presented, well-balanced meals. Whatever style of food she is asked to prepare, Lida is always willing to go the extra mile to ensure memorable meals for all.
JD has know Chris and Lida for many years having grown up in the same seaside town. He was immersed in a life filled with fishing, kite surfing, diving, and all kinds of water sports. This upbringing fostered a deep passion and understanding of the ocean, leading him to become a professional kite surfing instructor amongst many other outdoor achievements.
His career took him into the world of hospitality operations, where he spent the past 10 years perfecting skills in hospitality operations and the culinary industry however when he a precious moment not working, you´d find him out on the trails hiking, camping under the stars, or taking on new DIY projects as a handyman. With a fun-loving spirit and a zest for life, JD is always ready for new challenges and new experiences, bringing enthusiasm and positivity to everything he does.
Chris and Lida have worked together on luxury charter yachts for the past four years in some of the most amazing destinations in the world which include the Maldives, many Caribbean islands and more recently the USVI and BVI and this year JD has chosen to join their team enhancing their amazing, fun-filled charter offering on Huntress.
They love working together as a team, easily anticipating each other’s needs, and sharing a desire to take the best possible care of guests to ensure their vacation exceeds all expectations.

Haley, thank you for cleaning up behind us 24/7. You kept this boat ship shape all week with not much help from us. Thank you for getting us snacks so we didn’t get hungry midday. Thanks for fixing awesome strawberry daiquiris and smoothies and coffees. They were some of the best drinks…I mean it.
Keagan, thanks for mapping out a route that was fun and relaxing for everyone. Also, thanks for teaching me how to wakeboard. Maybe I’ll get it next time. I had fun even though I couldn’t get up! Thanks again Crew for an amazing experience. Best sailing trip yet! I’ll remember this trip forever!

You have helped us make some wonderful memories this year. You’ve helped us celebrate, launching another child off to college. As one who loves hospitality all the little touches don’t go unnoticed. Keagan , thanks for being a great captain and teacher to our family on the wakeboards.
Olivia, thanks again for helping our family with the different dietary needs.
Hayley, it was so nice to get to know you this trip! You’re a good addition to the team. Thanks for letting Micah and Lydia be your little shadows this trip.

This Week Was A Gift!!!!
Vacations can tend to have a little of variance - being away from home can make me anxious, so many things can go wrong - and who knows how these might be amplified on a boat out in the ocean. But this entire trip, I have felt like I was home. I was comfortable not just because of the care you show, or the attention to detail, but because of how immediately I trusted you all so completely and emphatically.
It is rare to be able to release, to truly let go, and to know others have everything taken care of. This week was a gift that is well and truly invaluable, beyond a service.
Keagan, Olivia, and Haley - you are kind and incredible and the joy of this trip was largely about spending it with you
You Were Amazing In Every Way
What can I possibly write to describe my experience except perfect.
This trip has ruined every other vacation I could take.
Olivia, Keagan, and Haley y’all were amazing in every way. I never felt a burden even though I never cooked, cleaned, or did anything beneficial for the boat. That speaks to your service and personalities.
Some of my most fond memories of this trip will be playing games at night with y’all. If I ever can get myself here again I will certainly seek you guys out if possible.
I hope you all have wonderful lives, calm seas, sunny skies, and lots of time to keep exploring this world. Thank you again!
Dynamic Trio

This has been my favorite charter I’ve done so far! I will miss Huntress and the crew on it.
Olivia, Keagan, and Haley, you three are the dynamic trio. You guys played games with us, made amazing food and smoothies, and picked amazing spots to stay for our trip! This was a vacation I could never forget and you three made it possible.
On this boat I grew closer to family and to the crew members. This vacation felt like something more than a vacation, it felt like having a big family. Thank you guys so much, see you in the future Huntress!

Perfect Week in Paradise
Thank you so much Keagan, Olivia, and Haley! We’ve had a wonderful week. The time truly goes by so fast, yet, every moment is cemented as a memory for life. You have all been an integral part of those memories and we’ll forever carry the three of you in our hearts.
Keagan, you’re an amazing captain of the sea, and we loved the path you set forth for us and the stories you shared and all the conversations as we sailed. Olivia, your food is not only delicious but beautiful works of art that were picture worthy every time! Complimented of course with Haley’s creative and beautiful table settings.
Last but surely not least is the ever “sunny” Haley. Always ready with a smile and a happy demeanor, making sure everyone is set with drinks, an organized space, or anything that would make everyone their happiest. You were a complete joy to have join us for whatever we were doing.

Thank you for an incredible trip! Olivia is so talented in the kitchen. So many wonderful meals, it is hard to pick a favorite. We saw so many incredible fish and enjoyed a number of beach bars. I will miss all of you when I go back to reality.

The most memorable family vacation!
From the moment we met Keagan and Olivia on the dock, we felt relaxed and welcomed. As our first charter, we weren’t entirely sure what to expect, and Olivia and Keagan immediately made us feel at ease. Their hospitality pervaded the entire week. By attending to each and every detail - from making sure we were comfortable, to helping with fabulous restaurant reservations and fun plans for each day, to knowing the best snorkeling spots – we could sit back, relax, and enjoy our family time.
As the captain, Keagan kept us moving forward in a timely, yet relaxed, way. His competence, expertise, and mature demeanor created a safe, trusting environment. His judgment throughout the week was impeccable. We thoroughly enjoyed his music selection too! We also appreciated Keagan taking us to sundowners and morning walks, like when we went to the sugar mill. He is easy going and naturally enters into conversations, which added value to our time together. We also appreciated learning from Keagan. His historical knowledge of the islands and help with snorkeling were great additions to our trip.
Olivia’s positive energy and warmth made each day fun. She also added so much to our conversations. Olivia’s cooking was extraordinary; the meals were beyond our expectations and her presentations were beautiful. All the food was absolutely delicious and we asked for many of Olivia’s recipes. We couldn’t believe how much hard work went into cooking three meals a day for a family of five! And Olivia made it all seem effortless. Olivia also accompanied us on snorkeling expeditions, which made us feel safer. And the card game she taught us is our new family favorite.
Most importantly, Keagan and Olivia were kind and patient with our family, particularly when our youngest son needed to go to the doctor due to a serious rash. Their amazing local network made our trip more memorable and special too. We highly recommend them to anyone hoping to charter a catamaran. We hope we have opportunities to travel with them in the future.

There aren´t enough words to describe how amazing you two are and how unbelievable this experience was. You guys are the sweetest, funniest and definitely most badass couple and your personalities clearly make the yacht and this memorable trip even better and what we will come back for.

A Week has Never Flown By Faster
This trip has truly been one of a kind! At first I was a little nervous about spending and sharing time on a boat with 8 people but you two have made it one of the best experiences ever! Every morning felt like paradise - smelling the amazing food cooked by Olivia and the collection of laughter bellowing from the table. All of the amazing meals and the hilarious late night stories or games really tied everything together. A week has never flown by faster.

My face aches from laughing, my stomach hurts from being unable to resist your incredible cuisine and I´m so utterly relaxed I think my legs stopped working (or maybe that was the Rose´) You are an inspiration so ´on it´ AND such phenomenal fun. time stopped ..... so I guess you too do time travel too! the best vacation we have ever had.
