Captain
Captain / Georgios Lalas
Georgios is a dedicated and motivated captain with over nine years of experience in the superyacht industry. Having progressed through the ranks from deckhand to senior officer positions, he has developed strong leadership skills and extensive expertise in navigation, bridge operations, and safety management. Georgios holds a Yacht Master 3000 and Captain Class C / OOW 3000 certification, along with additional qualifications including Ship Security Officer, ECDIS, advanced firefighting, and medical care training. Throughout his career he has been responsible for overseeing deck operations, managing maintenance programs, and ensuring the highest standards of safety for guests and crew. He has also been closely involved in new-build projects and operational handovers, working alongside shipyards and management teams to ensure vessels are delivered and maintained to the highest standards. Calm, professional, and highly reliable, Georgios leads his team with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and creating a smooth and enjoyable experience onboard for all guests. In his free time, Georgios enjoys staying active and spending time outdoors. His hobbies include basketball, snow skiing, padel, and indoor bouldering.

Chief Engineer / Ioannis Passas
Ioannis embarked on his professional journey in 2006 as an apprentice engineer onboard tankers, gradually ascending the ranks to ultimately assume the role of Chief Engineer. His diverse background includes stints on ferry boats, and in 2019, he transitioned to the luxury yachting sector. Beyond his maritime pursuits, Ioannis is an avid traveler and snowboarder, with a passion for rebuilding motorbikes during his leisure time. Fluent in both English and Greek, he is characterized by a positive attitude, exceptional teamwork skills, and a deep sense of pride in ensuring that everything operates seamlessly.

Chief Steward & Deckhand / Michael Depusoy
He joined M/Y Blade 6 in 2021 and currently serves on M/Y Blade I (2026). His qualifications include powerboat handling, Basic Safety Training, Crowd Management, and certification in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats. Michael is highly skilled in silver service and fine table settings, bartending, cabin preparation, line handling, deck maintenance, and tender driving, and he consistently carries out his duties with professionalism, responsibility, and dedication.

Yacht terms: Plus Expenses
The price includes a professional crew operating your chartered yacht, but all running expenses such as fuel, tax, provisions and any other costs are extra. Calculate between 20-30% for a sailing yacht and 30-40% for a motor yacht on top of the given rate with an APA cash payment made to the ships agent or captain, who will keep an open tap and produce full accounts of all expenditures. Unused APA money will be refunded. Inquire for more information.
