In his spare time he enjoys reading and spending time with his family. Mehmet speaks good English and Turkish.
CHEF/ Alican Sayar
Alican was born in the East part of Turkey. In 2012 he started his career in the maritime industry and since then he was keeping himself up-to-date, following new styles and techniques. DECKHAND/ Alpay Arslan
Alpay has been the chef on board since 2007 but in 2015 he promoted himself to deckhand position, in order to lay the path to becoming a charter Captain in the coming years. Serenity 70 Guest Reviews
Hidde Frankena, NL - SERENITY 70 (2013)
The trip was fantastic for all involved. Like last time also this family considered it the best vacation ever. It is clearly a very strong concept: a nice boat, great environment and beautiful water/bays, the freedom to go wherever you want to go, a great cook (Alpay is really impressive), a great captain and boats man. What also was striking for them (we already knew this) was the friendliness and service mindedness of the Turkish people: the crew but also the people in restaurants, etcetc.
Tom Kudelka, AU - SERENITY 70 (2013)
Really cannot be much better! Will come back if possible. Great yacht, great crew, food unbeatable!
Bill & Kay Randall, AU - SERENITY 70 (2013)
The cleanliness of SERENITY 70 is a credit to the crew. Especially Ramo who does not stop wiping and washing inside, deck and hull. Every part of the boat shines! Adem, Alpay and Ramo are a fantastic team and work extremely well together, whether it be the running and crewing of SERENITY 70 or keeping their guests happy and well attended too. They always have a smile on their face!
Michael & Johanna Wald, USA - SERENITY 70 (2011)
Everybody went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. It really was a perfect experience - we have done a lot of travel and this was best care we´ve ever received.
Mark & Jayne Wingate, US - SERENITY 70 (2011)
Adem was the penultimate professional - taking care of all our needs while constantly watching out for our safety. Alpay´s cooking and demeanor were great! Always friendly, helpful and the food was amazing! Ozan was continually watching out for every need, and was very good at the perfect blend of congeniality & professionalism. Unbelievable experience!!!

This is the most personable and accommodating crew we have EVER HAD!!! This was a stress-free and relaxing week. Every wish was met with a smile. Such a wonderful holiday we could not fault it. All thanks to the wonderful crew who made our stay so thoroughly enjoyable. The food was absolutely excellent so healthy and so many little surprises. It was the personal touches and the way the staff looked after us that made the holiday all the more special. Much thanks to Adam, Ali and Alpay for such a memorable week. It was so short and we wouldhappily stay forever.

Excellent and More!! The experience of a lifetime surpassed all our expectations. Chef looked after Johns food allergies so well and provided everything he could have wanted and more! The crew fashioned some more comfortable lower steps for our party to get in and out of the water. They couldnt have done more. What else to say??! Just wonderful, relaxing out of this world! Hang on to that crew theyre good value! They didnt miss a thing
Denise Allen, USA - SERENITY 70 (2006)
This trip clearly exceeded our expectations. It has been one of our best vacations. The turquoise coast is stunning, beautiful sites and villages along the way, plenty of activities like kayaking, swimming, hiking and waterskiing, and wonderful coves and bays for overnight anchoring. The trip would not have been as good without the excellent crew and service, the delicious meals, and gorgeous gullet.
Fosca, SPAIN - SERENITY 70 (2006)
No comments! Everything has met our expectations. This has been one of our best holidays ever. It makes very well for two families of two children. You were amazing with the children and looked after all of us really well. We will all miss you, Mehmet, Adam, and Ali.. Serenity and Turkey. We hope to repeat next year.
Mr. & Mrs. Cussins, UK - SERENITY 70 (2006)
We have chartered many yachts around the world and often on this coast. This is by far our best experience. A wonderful yacht shown off to its best by a fantastic crew. Adam, a captain who recognizes the different preferences of passengers and tailors the cruise accordingly, always trying his outmost to give people the best time. Ali, such a great enthusiast for the Serenity company with great knowledge & energy and a desire to anticipate guests every need. And Mehmet, one of the finest chefs on the coast.
