Tim Cooter | Captain

Master of the Med | Storyteller of the Sea

Born with salt in his veins, Tim grew up in a quaint fishing village where the tide marked time and adventure began at the harbour wall. The son of a commercial fisherman, he was steering his first fishing vessel by the age of 12 - long before most kids could ride a bike without wobbling. That early connection to the sea wasn’t just a phase; it became a calling.

Now with over 15 years at the helm of luxury yachts, Tim brings a rare blend of seafaring tradition and modern-day professionalism to every charter. His calm, personable leadership has earned him a loyal following of returning guests who trust him to deliver both safety and unforgettable experiences.

Since 2018, Tim has proudly captained OVER THE RAINBOW, a yacht he holds close to his heart for its elegance, character, and 95 years of storied history. He treats the vessel like a living legend - maintaining her with care, and navigating her with the respect she deserves.

A Mediterranean expert with a treasure trove of secret coves and local tales, Tim excels at crafting bespoke itineraries filled with discovery, relaxation, and just the right touch of magic. Whether you’re seeking serene anchorages or glamorous ports, Tim ensures your journey is as memorable as the destination.

Nicol Veronico | Chief stewardess

Heart of Hospitality

Effortlessly graceful and endlessly attentive, Nicol brings a vibrant mix of Mediterranean warmth and five-star service to life on board. Born and raised in Italy, Nicol’s journey into luxury hospitality began over nine years ago in the refined settings of Genoa and Valencia, where she mastered the art of elegant, intuitive service.

With a background spanning fine dining and boutique hotel management, Nicol doesn’t just meet expectations - she anticipates them. Her ability to multitask under pressure, combined with her calm confidence and infectious energy, makes her a pillar of the guest experience.

Fluent in Italian, Spanish, German, and English, Nicol has a natural talent for making guests feel instantly at ease, no matter where they come from. Whether she’s orchestrating a seamless dinner service or adding thoughtful touches to your daily routine, Nicol’s eye for detail and warm personality create an atmosphere of genuine care and comfort.

Currently balancing her yachting career with a degree in Business Administration, and already holding a diploma in International Relations, Nicol brings brains to match her impeccable service. She looks forward to welcoming you aboard with the kind of hospitality that feels both polished and personal - ensuring your time on OVER THE RAINBOW is nothing short of exceptional.

Léa Djenidi | Deckhand

Lead Deckhand | Spirit of Adventure

Energetic, capable, and quietly adventurous, Lea is the driving force behind the deck team. With a degree in Marine and Environmental Science and a background rooted in marine tourism, she brings both expertise and passion to life on deck.

Since 2015, Lea has immersed herself in a wide range of roles that have shaped her into a skilled snorkel guide, diving assistant, and deckhand. Her hands-on experience includes skippering an 8-metre RIB for a research programme at Queen’s University and contributing to a conservation initiative in the rainforests of Sumatra. Whether she’s leading a water-based excursion or managing the day-to-day operations topside, Lea’s calm competence and proactive spirit shine through.

Currently working towards her Yachtmaster Offshore and AEC 1 & 2 certifications, Lea’s commitment to learning and growth is matched only by her love of the outdoors. Surfing, sailing, freediving, hiking - if it involves nature, she’s in her element. And when it’s time to recharge, you’ll likely find her tucked away with a good book and a big smile.

Lea looks forward to sharing her passion for the ocean and her adventurous spirit with every guest aboard OVER THE RAINBOW.

Stephen Radcliffe | Chef

Soul of the Galley

With over 30 years of international culinary experience and a passion for fresh, seasonal ingredients, Stephen brings both artistry and calm precision to the galley. His career spans high-end restaurants, boutique hotels, and sustainable food ventures across Sweden, the UK, and Australia - each chapter adding depth to a versatile and thoughtful cooking style.

Stephen’s culinary approach is rooted in plant-forward, flavour-rich cuisine, with influences from New Nordic and Mediterranean traditions to Indian, Asian fusion, and contemporary plant-based fare. Whether crafting a multi-course tasting menu or a wholesome meal for the crew, his food is always nourishing, beautifully balanced, and made with care.

Now bringing his skills to the yachting world, Stephen is as adaptable as he is organised, known for meeting diverse dietary needs with creativity and ease. His philosophy is simple: food should delight, fuel, and bring people together - ideally with a touch of surprise.
