Oui Cherie is an exceptionally spacious Lagoon 52F know for it’s deluxe cabins and performance sailing. The 52F is Lagoon’s performance luxury model; perfectly intersects the ideas of comfort and capability. It´s accommodations are fit for the collaboration of adventure and gratification. Oui Cherie houses 3 extra-spacious queen staterooms- including a stunning Master and VIP cabin. All guest cabins include their own private ensuite head and stand alone shower. This yacht offers extraordinary space for its size both above and below deck and is suitable for any variety of people desiring to get away: families, friends, coworkers, children, couples- you name it! There are tremendous amounts of entertaining and relaxing space on board this vessel. The Flybridge: where the helm and sailing functions meet the enormous convertible settee- provide the best seat in the house whether under sail or under stars. The Forward Cockpit Lounge: where morning coffee meets the sunrise. The Aft Cockpit: where the exquisite meals are served and chaise lounges are spread throughout the yacht. The Main Salon: which houses the open-concept galley, large sofa-chaise and flat-screen TV. And also a more formal dining area should that be desired. Captain
Chef/First Mate
Born in San Diego, California, I grew up sailing and offshore sport fishing Southern California, as well as the Pacific Northwest (between Coos Bay and Roseburg, OR) where I spent summers. In 1982, I purchased and lived on my first sailboat, an Ericson 35´ Sloop, in San Diego, leading to a passion for sailing that pointed my compass to St. Thomas, U.S.V.I. In 1995 shortly after hurricane ´Marilyn´ had destroyed the island. Regardless of the destruction and debris, I immediately fell in love with the beauty of the V.I., its people, and the lifestyle. Being a general contractor at the time, I immediately shipped my truck and tools from San Diego and began to re-build homes and businesses on St. Thomas and St. John for the next ten years. As a result, I had an amazing opportunity to work and play, on multiple charter and pleasure yachts, both sail and power, with some of the best people and mariners in the industry. Also, as a result, I have a lifetime of marine mechanical, electrical, diesel and outboard engine repair, as well as general yacht maintenance and management. I have been from Alaska to Costa Rica, including the Hawaiian islands on the Pacific, and Maine to the U.S.V.I. on the Atlantic. I have worked my way through the ranks from deckhand to first mate, chef, engineer, and then finally captain, and will thankfully continue to learn daily sharing and enjoying the beauty of Seas!

Yacht terms: Plus Expenses
The price includes a professional crew operating your chartered yacht, but all running expenses such as fuel, tax, provisions and any other costs are extra. Calculate between 15-25% for a sailing yacht and 25-35% for a motor yacht on top of the given rate with an APA cash payment made to the ships agent or captain, who will keep an open tap and produce full accounts of all expenditures. Unused APA money will be refunded. Inquire for more information.

SLEEP ABOARD: Available for half of the daily rate. Includes boarding after 4pm, snacks, welcome cocktails & continental breakfast. Dinner ashore is additional. Select option upon booking. EXCLUDES: Christmas and New Year´s weeks.

We are well and had a fantastic charter. The boat was more than we expected, cabins were nicely outfitted and ver comfortable. The crew, Capt Brian and Shannon were perfect. Both with lots of suggestions re locations to snorkel, restaurants or bars on the islands and different hikes to explore. And the meals on board were excellent. They both did an excellent job, and each night’s mooring was breathtaking.

Matt and Jana, although it is tempting to give top billing to the enchanting chef/first mate Jana, it is the seamless manning that Capt. Matt performs the operation of the vessel that makes this extraordinary experience just that - extraordinary. The series of excursions and diversions makes 7 days seem twice as long. The dining from breakfast to dinner, desserts is a deeply memorable series of delights. It would be difficult to imaging two more delightful souls to guide and pamper their guests through an utterly unforgettable experience. Thank you so much!
