The innovative concept of the Open 46 catamaran is based on a sleek and elegant design. The salon and the cockpit have been merged to gain space - it’s the essence of the ´Open´ concept. The salon of the Open 46 offers beautiful volumes, like an invitation to enjoy daily life in an amazingly elegant and warm atmosphere. The interior is very chic, made of light wood with very bright natural light and neat details in stainless steel. ILLUSION boast a spacious interior with a contemporary design. She has a breathtaking view of the ocean from the salon with elegant and strong woodwork and veneers. Her 3 cabins are ensuite with ipad dockers and electric fans. The starboard side cabins have a/c and the aft king cabin to port has an excellent electric fan and overhead hatch for fresh sea breezes! All cabins are bathed in light thanks to large hull portholes with numerous storage spaces. For your water time fun she sports paddleboards, kayak, fishing gear, snorkel gear and more.

Illusion´s 3 cabins, comprise 2 kings and one queen are ensuite with ipad dockers and electric fans. The starboard side cabins have a/c and the aft cabin to port has an excellent electric fan and overhead hatch for fresh sea breezes! All cabins are bathed in light thanks to large hull portholes with numerous storage spaces.

Illusion installed AC on the starboard side of Illusion for 2 cabins in 2024.

Captain Bruno Franceschi
Bruno has four wonderful children and has had a long and distinguished career as a journalist with French newspapers. He retired as the CEO of the second-largest French newspaper, Sud Ouest, as after spending 30 years in the world of the Press he decided to return to his first passion of yachting and sailing.
Bruno has been at one with the sea for as long as he can remember. At the age of 10, he joined the Marine Scouts in his hometown of Marseille. He was an avid member of the Scouts for nine years. Following Scouts membership, he joined local yacht clubs and was well known for his superb skills in many sailing regattas. Naturally, he was thrilled to own his first boat. He has owned, sailed, and thoroughly enjoyed seven more boats prior to purchasing ILLUSION. On all of his boats, he labors diligently to prepare all equipment and rigging for speed, safety, and the utmost in comfortable cruising.
Bruno graduated with his Captain 200-ton license, and STCW 95 French qualification. He is intimately familiar with the Leeward and Windward Islands of the Caribbean, where he lived and worked for many years as the CEO of the French newspaper France Antilles. Bruno has sailed extensively in France and throughout the Mediterranean and the Caribbean. He has sailed from Grenada through to Puerto Rico and is especially fond and familiar with the French West Indies. He loves nothing greater than showing his charter guests the beauty of the different islands aboard sailing catamaran ILLUSION.
Chef/Mate Chrystelle Larroque
Chrystelle is originally from Metz, France. Her father worked for an oil services company, so Chrystelle was able to live an international life in her youth. Abu Dhabi, Singapore, and Scotland are some of her homes plus other French cities such as Nice and Marseille.
As a student, she pursued many sports such as cross country, horseback riding, and swimming. On board, she enjoys helping guests discover underwater and nature around the boat. Chrystelle is an avid snorkeler, paddleboarder, and reader.
Chrystelle studied at Ecole Hotelier in Toulouse; Pierre Gagnaire Paris and with Michel Guerrard at Eugeny les bains/Les pras dâ Eugeny. She also attended Lenatre (a culinary school in Paris), and worked with Bruno Delorme (Terre de Truffes). She learned the Michelin way of service in those 3 macaroon (star) places. After her interesting education, and before joining up with Bruno on Illusion in 2020, Chrystelle worked for 6 years as director of a luxury senior´s house, complete with a lovely in- house restaurant.
With such a background, Chrystelle´s foremost cuisine is admittedly French. A favorite among guests is her fresh fish cooked ´Al Forno´ in a tasty Mediterranean style. Chrystelle is quietly available and her discreet style of service works well with Captain Bruno´s friendly and entertaining presence. Her friends describe her as honest, kind, and dynamic and her motto is to always Enjoy Life!

An all-inclusive charter covers all provisioning and running expenses. This includes a captain and crew that is fully trained and committed to your safety and enjoyment of your trip. A chef will provide the kind of exceptional, personalized meal preparation that you would expect of a five-star restaurant. The listed rate may not include all local taxes, cruising permits, premium beverages and scuba activities. Inquire for more information.

Christmas and New Year rates - $20,700 all inclusive
For SXM charters - The charter rates are all inclusive, which includes clearance taxes and port fees for the two islands of SXM and St Barths. For clients who wish to visit the island of Anguilla these expenses will be at additional cost.

We have spent 5 days in the boat and it was amazing! The food made by the Chef Chrystelle was 5 stars!!! Everything was delicious!
The many views, beaches and islands were true paradise!
It was a smooth sailing, thanks to Captain Bruno. Our sons will practice to be able to pull the dinghy!

July 15-22, 2017 St Vincent-St Vincent charter - Spectacular!
We are a family of 4, 2 daughters and we sailed with Bruno and Jessica (his lovely daughter) for a week.
Nothing can measure their open hearts and the homey feeling we had throughout our entire stay.
Their knowledge of Caribbean Sea is not short of spectacular, and so was our trip!
Bruno is like a dad, a friend and great captain to anyone coming aboard and your comfort will be his top priority.
Not only will I recommend Bruno and his boats, but his lovely daughter Jessica as well, whom spoiled us with delicious food every day, baked for my kids and made fresh dishes always.
