Captain Dan Corcoran | American
Captain Dan Corcoran began his yachting career young. At the age of 15, he started washing boats at a local marina in Spring Lake, Michigan, and at 18 years old became a licensed Captain. During breaks in college, he ran boats back and forth from Michigan to Florida. After graduating he moved to Florida to run boats full time. In 2001, after upgrading his license, he embarked on running larger yachts and in 2012, ran a 151’ Northern Marine, For 15 years, Captain Dan and his wife, Toni, ran yachts cruising the East Coast of the US, the Great Loop, the Tennessee/Tombigbee waterway, and the Bahamas. With 40 years of experience as a captain, he holds a Master 1600 GRT license and always puts the safety of his guests first. Out of all his years of experience, the Bahamas
holds a special spot in Captain Dan’s heart, and he loves giving the guest a truly unique experience and showing the Bahamas “through his eyes”. Captain Dan calls Tampa home, where he loves to spend time with his wife and dogs.
Mate Meredith Reece | American
Meredith Cashman Reece-Cassidy is an accomplished mariner with nearly two decades of experience across yacht operations, navigation, and guest services. Known for her organization, professionalism, and calm under pressure, she excels in delivering seamless guest experiences and maintaining the highest standards of safety and performance at sea.
Stewardess Oceana Minthorne | American
Born and raised in Hawaii, even as a little girl Oceana always dreamed of travelling for work. With a name like “Oceana”, one might even say she was destined for it! (In her career so far, she has cruised the Bahamas, Caribbean, New England, the Mediterranean, Mexico, Costa Rica, the West Coast and Alaska). Cliché jokes aside, Oceana brings a solid hospitality background to DETERMINATION, spending 9 years working in bars and restaurants before making the transition to yachting. She has a degree in communications and loves to chat, and she has a special gift for making you feel like you have been heard. She will without a doubt exceed your expectations! When Oceana is not on duty, she enjoys staying fit and active, finding new music, reading and doing yoga. Her favorite thing about yachting is the people you meet along the way, and she is looking forward to welcoming you aboard.
