Captain: Nikos Siganos
Nikos is a dedicated and passionate sailor with over 15 years of experience as a professional skipper, having worked at sea since 2008. With a profound love for sailing and an extensive background in yacht maintenance and engineering, he brings a unique combination of technical expertise, leadership, and hands-on knowledge to life onboard Amarea. His calm and professional approach, combined with a friendly personality and excellent communication skills, ensures guests always feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for throughout their journey. Fluent in both Greek and English, Nikos effortlessly connects with guests from around the world, creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere on board while delivering exceptional sailing experiences with confidence and enthusiasm.
Chef: Friskida Hasa
Chef Friskida, or short Kida, born in 2000, is a passionate and versatile chef with a strong professional background in restaurants, luxury hotels, and yachting. She holds a Master Chef d’Oeuvre degree from Athens and has developed her culinary skills through a wide range of positions, from B’ Cook to First Cook, Kitchen Manager, and Chef.
Kida gained her first yachting experience as Chef aboard a motor yacht in 2024 following several years working in leading restaurants and hotels in Athens and Santorini. Her experience includes Mediterranean and gourmet cuisine, fresh pasta, brunch, seafood, sushi, Japanese and Peruvian cuisine, as well as modern techniques such as sous-vide, foams, purées and spheroidization.
Highly organized and adaptable, Kida has strong experience in menu creation, ingredient management, dish preparation and presentation, as well as kitchen team coordination. She is known for her team spirit, reliability, consistency, and attention to detail, bringing a positive and professional attitude to the galley.
Passionate about cooking and continuously developing her skills, Kida enjoys creating fresh, carefully presented dishes while adapting menus to the preferences and requirements of his guests. Her experience, enthusiasm, and dynamic personality make her a valuable addition to the crew and a dedicated chef on board.
Deck/Stewardess: Tamara ´Tami´ Stretovych
Tami was born in Ukraine in 1982 and moved to Greece with her family at the age of 14, settling in Athens. After completing her secondary education, she pursued studies in Culinary Arts, laying the foundation for a successful career in hospitality. In 2016, she entered the yachting industry as a Cook/Hostess aboard sailing yachts in Greece and has since accumulated ten years of valuable experience in charter operations. Tami is known for her warm personality, excellent communication skills, and positive attitude. Naturally caring and attentive, she takes great pride in ensuring guests feel comfortable, relaxed, and well looked after throughout their time on board. Her extensive hospitality and yachting background has equipped her with exceptional organizational skills and the ability to perform efficiently in fast-paced charter environments. She is responsible for interior maintenance, housekeeping, guest service, provisioning management, and budgeting, consistently maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality. A hardworking and flexible team member, Tami approaches every charter with professionalism, enthusiasm, and attention to detail. Her commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences makes her a valuable asset to any yacht crew.
Deckhand/ Stew: Panagiotis Polymos
Panagiotis is a motivated and dedicated deck/stew with a strong passion for the maritime industry. Currently pursuing a degree in Maritime Studies at the University of Piraeus, he combines academic knowledge with practical experience gained through competitive sailing at both national and international levels. A natural team player, Panagiotis thrives in dynamic environments, bringing excellent organizational skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently. His background has strengthened his project management, critical thinking, and time management skills, while his positive attitude and willingness to learn make him a valuable addition to any crew. Active and energetic, he maintains a high level of fitness through regular gym training and enjoys skiing during the winter, reflecting his commitment to an active, disciplined lifestyle. Friendly, adaptable, and eager to contribute, Panagiotis approaches every challenge with professionalism and enthusiasm, ensuring he supports both guests and crew to the highest standard while continuing to develop his career in the yachting industry.

Yacht terms: Plus Expenses
The price includes a professional crew operating your chartered yacht, but all running expenses such as fuel, tax, provisions and any other costs are extra. Calculate between 20-30% for a sailing yacht and 30-40% for a motor yacht on top of the given rate with an APA cash payment made to the ships agent or captain, who will keep an open tap and produce full accounts of all expenditures. Unused APA money will be refunded. Inquire for more information.

Weekly Rates
High Season: EUR 42,500 per week (July - August)
Mid Season: EUR 36,000 per week (June and Sept)
Low Season: EUR 32,000 (rest months)
Plus all expenses (VAT 6,5% & APA 25%)
Charters for less than a week are only available upon request and the weekly rate is divided by 6.
If the yacht is chartered from a location other than the home port, the charter is subject to a relocation fee.
Relocation Fees: Catamarans 55ft and up: Cyclades (1,500 EUR + 6,5% VAT)
* * Please note due to logistics, charters with embarkation/disembarkation in Santorini will be charged one extra day + 6,5% VAT.
