His career as a professional skipper spans a wide range of offshore and open-sea conditions, where precision, foresight, and safety are paramount.
Matthew’s maritime training includes advanced offshore sailing, offshore racing, celestial navigation, and safety & first-aid certification, providing him with a rare blend of modern and classical navigational expertise. His service in the Greek Marine Corps, where he held the rank of Staff Sergeant, further shaped his leadership style - disciplined, composed, and deeply safety-oriented.
In addition to his maritime career, Matthew is a certified Yoga instructor with long-term teaching experience, bringing a refined understanding of body awareness, breathing, focus, and mental clarity.
