Myra Description
The sailing schooner Myra was designed and built by the Turkish Ege Yat yacht builders in 2003, and has been refitted in 2021/22. Myra is an extremely elegant, classic and refined, the sailing yacht Myra has a traditional vibe about her. Her exterior steel hull is an added value and a unique feature for a schooner. Her beautiful exterior is with gloss varnished bulwarks and teak deck. The interior is spacious and warm boasting fine woods panels and teak-holly inlay floors. The salon is in the raised deck house, large ports allow ample natural light and great viewing. On the port side 2 formal dining tables seat all 12 guests with room to spare, on the starboard side a built in lounge and coffee table invite guests to relax in comfort. A flat screen TV and audio system is available for indoor entertainment. Four double guest cabins are forward of the salon, while 2 twin guests cabins are aft of the salon. Exterior living on charter yacht MYRA is plentiful. The aft deck offers an alfresco dining option, seating and aft facing sunbeds, shade from a Bimini cover can be provided. Additional sunbeds on the foredeck allow everyone to find a place to relax. The sailing schooner Myra boasts generous wrap around teak decks, with high rails, the yacht is easy to walk around both at anchor and under sail. Myra is RINA and CE certified.

Captain
Captain: Marco Staniscia
Born in 1969 in Termoli, Marco embarked on his sailing journey two decades ago, initially navigating drift sailing boats and completing a sailing course in Bonifacio. Transitioning from hobby sailing, he delved into boat deliveries, transporting vessels from factories to their Mediterranean home ports. This period honed his navigational skills and adaptability to diverse sailing conditions.
About 15 years into his maritime career, Marco assumed the role of captain on a Tartan yacht, sailing extensively in the Mediterranean and crossing the Atlantic to the Caribbean. With active participation in numerous races and four years of charter yacht experience, he has amassed an impressive 45,000 nautical miles.
Having spent a year as the second captain/deckhand on the Catamaran Genny, Marco is now eagerly taking the helm of Myra for his second season. Renowned for his responsibility, hands-on approach, and positive, cheerful demeanor, he promises to be a valuable addition to the crew. Marco´s deep affinity for the sea, coupled with his love for travel and meeting new people, makes him a captain who not only navigates the waters skillfully but also fosters a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere on board.

Originally from Termoli, Italy, Nicoletta has evolved into a seasoned professional within the charter yacht industry, commencing her yachting journey in 2018 and balancing her summers with academic pursuits during winters. Through years of dedicated work, she has honed her customer care skills, excelled in the food and beverage department, and thrived in high-pressure environments, assuming additional responsibilities to meet objectives. With her linguistic background and extensive hands-on experience, Nicoletta is prepared to deliver exceptional service and unforgettable experiences to charter yacht guests. Her commitment propelled her to graduate as an Interpreter and Translator, fluent in Italian with proficient English and Spanish knowledge, enabling seamless communication and enhanced guest satisfaction across different cultures.
Stewardess: Katia Pia Rosato
Katia Pia, born in Foggia, Italy, in 2004, is a vibrant newcomer excited to begin her journey as an onboard stewardess. Drawing from her prior roles as a receptionist and waitress, she brings a solid background in customer service to her new endeavor in the yachting industry. Eager to apply her skills and commitment, Katia is enthusiastic about delivering exceptional service to guests in this new realm. Fluent in Italian and with a basic knowledge of English, she communicates efficiently among guests and crew members. She nurtures a profound love for theatre and dance, showcasing her creative and expressive side. With her blend of hospitality experience, linguistic proficiency, and artistic passions, Katia is well-equipped to thrive as an onboard stewardess, enriching guest experiences with her warmth, enthusiasm, and meticulous attention to detail..
Deckhand: Andrea Vincenzo Blumenthal
Andrea, originating from Cabras, Sardinia, born in 1990, possesses extensive experience in yacht operations, establishing himself as a seasoned maritime professional. Since 2012, he has dedicated himself to the yachting industry, refining his skills in various capacities. His diverse skill set encompasses tasks from routine maintenance to overseeing shipbuilding projects and ensuring vessel safety for long-distance voyages. Andrea´s recent roles include serving as crew and occasional captain on the motor yacht Rizzardi 53 as well as commanding a sailing yacht for private owners. Driven by a profound passion for the sea and unwavering dedication to seamanship, Andrea stands as a capable and reliable professional, excelling in any maritime endeavor. He speaks Italian and basic English.

Myra Rates / week
The prices shown are for the entire yacht for a week-long (7 nights) charter.Low price: €25,000
High price: €30,000
The high and low prices of this yacht depend on both the number of guests and the traveling season. Send us an inquiry for exact pricing.
Yacht terms: Plus Expenses
The price includes a professional crew operating your chartered yacht, but all running expenses such as fuel, tax, provisions and any other costs are extra. Calculate between 15-25% for a sailing yacht and 25-35% for a motor yacht on top of the given rate with an APA cash payment made to the ships agent or captain, who will keep an open tap and produce full accounts of all expenditures. Unused APA money will be refunded. Inquire for more information.

High Season (15 June - 15 September): EURO 30,000 / week
Low Season (all other months): EURO 25,000 / week
+ Plus expenses 13% VAT & APA 30%
VAT 6,5% till end of 2024
Charters for less than a week are only available upon request and the weekly rate is divided by 6
If the yacht is chartered from a location other than the home port, the charter is subject to a relocation fee.
Relocation Fees:
Relocation fee for Yachts 80 ft, Motor yachts and power catamarans TBC according to fuel consumption.
* Please note due to logistics, charters with embarkation or disembarkation in Santorini will be charged one extra day.
