CAPTAIN: Theodoros Mitropoulos, Greek

Captain Theodoros is one of the best and most experienced Mega Yacht Captains in the East Med.
During the last 14 years, he has been working as a Master on some of the most prestigious Mega Yachts. From 1992 until 2009 he has worked as a 2nd Officer and Captain on cruise ships of Celebrity Cruises.
Besides being an expert as a Captain, he is a charming, polite, and pleasant person with excellent evaluations from all Guests and employers. He puts all his efforts to satisfy every Guest´s need and loves to create the ideal tailor-made itineraries and organize all kinds of activities on board and onshore, ensuring that all Guests will enjoy the most unforgettable holidays on GRANDE AMORE.
What makes him exceptional is that he combines his immense experience and his excellent managerial skills with a calm character, succeeding in handling every situation in the best possible way. He loves his job, pays attention to every single detail, and attracts much of respect by his Crew.
His extensive experience with VVIP Guests and royals makes him ideal to handle all the special requests of every Client who comes on board GRANDE AMORE.
Captain Theodoros was born in Greece in 1965, holds a Captain´s class A´ degree for unlimited size of vessels and has attended various training courses.

Captain Theodoros was born in 1978, holds a Class A´ captain´s degree for unlimited-size of vessels, and has worked as a Chief Officer on ships from 2007 until 2023 when he joined GRANDE AMORE.
He has attended many seminars and holds various certificates. And his deep knowledge of all marine aspects along with his pleasant personality and service orientation make him ideal for the yachting industry.
Captain Theodoros is very capable with tender driving and water sports. Also, he is a very capable fisherman and during his free time he loves fishing with his boat in his native town Neapoli, a beautiful coastal town in Lakonia, Peloponnese. He is married and his other hobbies are swimming, mountain biking, and playing soccer.

CHIEF ENGINEER: Theodosis Gianniris - Greek

Theodosis is the Chief Engineer of GRANDE AMORE since April 2021 and is a key asset to her success. He holds a Marine Engineer Class B´ Diploma and has various other licenses and certificates, including Speedboat Operator License, Sailing Yacht Operator License, Floating Crane Operator License, etc.
His professional career started in 1991 and since then he has worked on various ships, in the RION-ANTIRRION Bridge construction sea bottom excavations (2000 - 2003), in THYSSEN KRUPP Submarine Division (2005 - 2007) and on a 140 meters Mega Yacht owned by a royal family (2017 - 2021).
Theodosis was born in Athens in 1970, he lives in Athens and is married with two kids.

She has studied for 3 years at the Technical School of Quality Control in Lipestik, Russia, and has also taken cooking courses. In 2018 she was trained in Basic Safety Training of Merchant Shipping Regulations and on Security Awareness Training on Merchant Shipping Regulations.
Lada is a true team player. She is very willing and hard-working and at the same time, she has a very pleasant personality.

Before joining GRANDE AMORE on May 2021 Perry had worked as a service manager and waiter in some of the most prestigious restaurants in Greece, such as the famous Aspro in Paros and Albyon in Athens.
He is a real team player and he is always willing with a smile in his face to offer his best, both in service and as a deckhand.
He holds a Bachelor´s Degree in Oriental and African Languages and Cultures from the University of Naples L´ Orientale, in Italy. And an Open Sea Skipper Licence from YCG.
He was born in 1998, he is single, and lives in Athens, Greece. In his free time, he enjoys water sports, cooking, traveling, cinema, and basket.

The high and low prices of this yacht depend on both the number of guests and the traveling season. Send us an inquiry for exact pricing.
Yacht terms: Plus Expenses
The price includes a professional crew operating your chartered yacht, but all running expenses such as fuel, tax, provisions and any other costs are extra. Calculate between 15-25% for a sailing yacht and 25-35% for a motor yacht on top of the given rate with an APA cash payment made to the ships agent or captain, who will keep an open tap and produce full accounts of all expenditures. Unused APA money will be refunded. Inquire for more information.

I’d like to share with you the feedback regarding our charter onboard GRANDE AMORE.
First of all, thank you for putting in all the efforts for the charter to go smoothly and successfully. Your team was very supportive during the preparations - itinerary, restaurant advice, weather tips for Greek islands, provisioning for the charter, etc.
I was also very pleased to meet your team onboard GRANDE AMORE prior to embarkation who was there to make sure that everything was ready and fine for the charter to start.
The yacht was very well prepared and ready, clean, well maintained when I came to greet the guests in Lavrio. She is a classic, beautiful and very spacious Benetti that met all the expectations of the guests. She does offer great accommodation for the guests. Captain Christos was very helpful with the itinerary, booking the restaurants, last minute searching for special products on the islands, calling me and telling me that everything is going well. He was very easy to work with in my experience.
The guests’ PA shared that they liked the journey, and as far as I remember they expressed it via crew gratuity.

I am glad to say that our cooperation for the charter onboard GRANDE AMORE was successful. I can’t say any other way. It was a difficult time with Covid restrictions, risks that the guests wouldn’t make it to Greece, addendum and all these issues. I was a bit stressed during this period due to these risks, but it all went well. And you were supportive and very informative - you kept me up to date on what would happen if guests couldn’t come, what could be done to avoid money loss if such a possibility actually was more likely to happen.
And by the way, it was my first charter onboard a 40+m yacht, and I’m grateful for your help with it.
To be honest with you, I can’t easily remember what could be improved - you were great with knowing the contracts, the rules, you were informing me on risks what happens if the money doesn’t hit the account on time, what could be done in advance if the guests feel that they couldn’t come due to the Covid restrictions. As I mentioned - these things stressed me, but it was the reality to be aware of. And I was learning things about my job during this process, for which I’m thankful to you. I’m glad I could improve my knowledge. So from my side I can’t really think of things to be improved.
